I watched Harold and Kumar go to White Castle last night and living in North Carolina, I have never enjoyed the sensation. Are there any locations close the Manchester? How does a Krystle Burger compair?
These are the only two meat things that I haven't been able to stop craving since I went vegetarian over five years ago. There's no explaining it, especially since I never ate much of either before I quit eating meat.

I love meat, and sometimes white castle makes me want to be a vegetarian. ;D Sometimes its a good reason why im not one though. All i'll say is, make sure theres a bathroom nearby, ha.

The disgusting smell is part of the appeal.
Bring on the funny little pickle slices and soggy buns!
You have to eat at Krystals when in Tennessee! It was started in Chattanooga where the corporate headquarters still are. I prefer the Krystal sunrisers myself (breakfast).
My one and only White Castle experience was way too much like the movie. My buddy and I went to NJ for an Umphreys show and the night just ended up being an adventure. Got lost on the way to the show, met the most ridiculous people while trying to get directions, none of them sent us the right way. Finally got the show after missing part of the first set. Show was awesome but on the way home we ran into more trouble, including not having change for a toll both and having to go through without paying and ending up in Newark. Seemed only fitting to end the night at White Castle.
i only ate at white castle once. we were not allowed into canada to party and got sent back to america. we got lost in detroit and went into a ghetto ass white castle. everyone there looked like they were from a 50 cent video or something. my buddy bit into his chicken sandwich and it was just a hollow piece of breading. he complained and they accused him of trying to rip them off. it became an argument and we left quickly.. havent been back since. and the food that did come with all of its parts was some of the nastiest food ive ever had. made denny's seem like mountain jacks.

the grocery store ones will do if you can't get em near you, but they aren't as "good". Not that Slyders are that good, but when I craved them living in Texas, the frozen ones got me by.

I have never actually seen anyone eat white castle while they were sober - it was always a 2:00 a.m. drunken munchie stop for my group of friends. that should speak a lot about the quality of the mini-burgers.
Krystal do after a night on the town, it seems like they are a staple. Never tried the frozen, mainly due to I had to stop drinking at the supermarket. (They would get mad)
