Well as of now I guess I'm going solo like last year. Some people might not back out, but I have my doubts. I'll be driving up mid thurs, so maybe 3 tops? Tent only is the only way to go, so count me in! Was the camps flag a pic of someones baby last year? I might have bumped into you guys. I'll save spots or w/e might be needed. Holla!
I'll be at Roo about the time Tent Only opens. I'll set up my own campsite first and then head over to Inforoo. I figured I'd set a small day camp there. I do not have a cell phone so I'll have to coordinate the old fashion way.
I also figured I'd set up a "Helping Hands Area" where people can drop off donated goods and set up extra tents and camping gear. That way we can keep gear people want back in a single place so they know where to pick it up and have a set area where people in need can rest, rehydrate and/or crash for a while.
on the topic of the buddy system, I'll be there bright and early on thursday morning(coming direct from BFE or access camping) so, whos comin in late?
wooz, what are you doing weds night? 4 of us are going to be driving down to Manchester from Nashville that night. I think the last person arrives @ 5:30. After a shopping run we'll be down.
I know you won't have a car and although our rented minivan will be quite full, there's always room for one more, right?
i'm driving up from the gulf coast, i should be getting to manchester sometime in the late afternoon on wednesday and will be hanging out at walmart. if joshua doesn't end up having room for you wooz, you can catch a ride with me.

Wow! I got included on the Infooroo camp phone chain! I feel soooo special! On the same day I bought a .com! Wow!!! ;D Does it get any better than this??? Don't tell me...I don't want to know....
Anyways....even though I am not "officially" camping in Camp Inforoo, I did volunteer to bring some "sharables" like coolers (which I will probably fill w/ice and beer and water first) and such so I will likely need some strong volunteers to help drudge them from whatever RV lot I get assigned (we will be in the "Volunteer State" UGG..it pains this Auburn grad to say that....)
I plan to try and roll in from HSV around noon-1ish on Thurs depending on how long I get stuck in traffic on 24 E....that seemed like the closest tollboth entrance from here...and the best luck getting in....if I leave here around 9ish....any other suggestions???? Bushy Branch coming in off 55 would be closest as the crow flies but from the comments online it sounds like it might be the furthest camping spots.....

i'm flying in and set to land at 1:25 on thursday afternoon so with any luck i should be at the campsite by 3:30 (i've always driven so i'm not sure how long the whole shuttle thing takes)
anyone else coming in on delta flight 5007 from cincinnati? i got a short layover from my flight from buffalo so thought i'd ask...

im not comin in from Cincinnati but my flight lands pretty much when yours does maybe we can shuttle in together!

I think I will be arriving early on Thursday too. Im flying in from Vancouver on Wednesday and staying over somewhere that has yet to be determined, probably try to get an earlyish shuttle from the airport

Going with a bunch of people and they sort of have there own things planned. However, I'd love to be on the list just to stop by and say "hey" to everybody.
i don't know how this buddy system thing is working but i'm going to try to be at roo about mid-morning on thursday but plans aren't definate yet. things will be more set in stone after the move. i'll be sure to update. at any rate if anyone needs a buddy just let me know.

Where is the wal-mart at? I have only ever ridden up by bus, and walked from there. How would you get to it coming from the Western Union/greyhound station.
Sorry if I left you guys in the dark for a little bit. One of the members suggested to me to do text messaging updates and I think that is the route I think we should take after sleeping on it for a couple days. I can give people reminders when we have started setting camp and event updates like midnight meetups and the brunch and so on.What does everyone think?

Unfortunately I have very few friends who share my musical taste, and those that do are definitely not as enthusiastic about is as I am. I havent been on the board for long, but I would love to camp and hang out with some like minded people. Ill probably be driving up early thurs morning. So mark me down for one if thats ok ^^
