Long time lurker here who just recently registered.
I am hoping to meet up with all of you as well so add me and my friend Wilson to the list.
We plan on leaving from Cincinnati early Thursday morn (about 2 am) and should be arriving about 8 am or so. I will happily help saving places as long as I can find the place myself.
This will be my second Bonnaroo. I was there in 2003 and did not go back but decided to do a couple of other festivals in the years in between.
I am sure I will be posting more.
This is a great site and I can't believe it took me this long to find it and then decide to register. Oh well. I guess I am a bit of a procrastinator.
New to the boards here, but I've been reading them gathering information since I decided to make the trip to Bonnaroo.
This will be my first year going, and I'll be going solo. I'd like to have some cool people to meet up with and hang with in between all the festivities, so I wouldn't mind joining up with the rest of you guys and camping at camp inforoo.
I'll be leaving Wednesday morning from here in Houston and plan to hang out and meet people in the Walmart parking lot Wednesday night. I should be getting there around 8-9pm.
Well after long deliberation on whether I should camp at Inforoo, I just found out I am going solo. So I'll be just sleeping in my car for Bonnaroo. But I will definetly stop by and hang out with all you Inforooers that will be there.

Look at the first post in this thread, then drop a note to LIGuy.... he can hook you up with the info. In short, make your way to the tent only camping section known as Camp Shooter McGavin (assuming they don't change names this year). Then look for a flag and/or anyone wearing a T-shirt with a multicolored rooster on the front. Hope that helps.
If you have space I'd love to join. I'm going stag this year as a part of my ritual to the dirty 30. I'd love to meet some great people, hang out, have a broo and listen to good music. If you have space, sign me up!

I would love to camp up there with you guys, but i don't know if I will be able to tote everything being that I am going to be by myself. If I can get a small cart, I might make my way up there. I will try my best to make it up there. Might have to make a few trips the first day. Maybe I will be able to "hit someone up" to walk with me and keep me company.

Everybody is so dang nice. I wish I had it in me to talk more. I think I will just need to get over it for this adventure. I am sure that I will be up there well before the music starts. So I might just have to borrow a cart, or a hand.

You're really going to get to TN in 6 hours from Ohio??
Oh yeah! According to map quest if I go to Nashville then to Manchester it is only about 330 miles which is about 5 hours if i average 70 mph. If I go the Chattanoga way (which is the way I am heading to come in on the better route of w I-24) then it is only about 6 hours to get to at least the line.

Depending on when you get there my friend and I can give you a hand if you like. I am not bringing much so the extra excerise on Thursday (if you come Thursday) will do me good ha ha!

RedfoxaRoo, you shouldn't have too much trouble w/your stuff. I know if my friends or I am around we'll gladly help. Packing in and getting set up just adds more to the excitement of the week I think.
I'll be there on thursday before noon. I'll have a handy cart available once i'm done moving my stuff. Also have a 10'x10' shade canopy that's more than I need for myself.
I'm a little on the quiet side at first, so hopefully some of you extroverted people will snap me out of that
I read through the site every free waking hour back in Jan/Feb and posted a few comments before I felt the need to somehow check my obsession. : ) Now there's no stopping!
I'll have friends staying in the RV section, but will camp alone. It'd be nice to know my neighbors are good people.

my roo mates and i are leaving mass on wednesday 8 am. that puts us tentatively at roo... yanno... 2 am thursday.
we're plannin on doin the campin only spot. and well. may as well be friendly with the inforoo crew, considering i read this thing on a daily basis. and usually more than once.
and listen to good music. If you have space, sign me up!
I think I will just need to get over it for this adventure. I am sure that I will be up there well before the music starts. So I might just have to borrow a cart, or a hand.
