about the time. i also think earlier is better. i actually plan on trying to be over there by 9 and firing up the grill. franti and spearhead are listed as friday at noon. i want to be heading down to the stage by 10 or 1030. i plan on being up front for that one. hopefully we can get an inforoo group going for that show seeing as we will be meeting up for brunch anyhow. maybe we can comprise the whole first row ;D

I love the biscuit and gravy idea, but how to make biscuits on a camp stove is a problem. I make a mean sausage gravy and will volunteer for that if someone brings the biscuits. We'll show those from up north how to really do breakfast. (And I want to taste nutella, whatever that is)
As for Thursday, I usually make chicken qessadillas (or veggie for those so inclined) I usually share this at my permanent camp (at the truck) so as to get aquainted and make friends there. If I'm in BFE, I'll do that. If I'm close enough to just stay at Tent Only all the time, I'll add to the Thursday night supper.

i'll deffinatly join you; a spearhead show has too long avoided mine ears and eyes
I thought about picking up biscuits Thurs morning (like 7am) on the way into TN from Georgia. They would still be fine at brunch-time. Anybody keeping a headcount?
I won't be bringing much (I'm flying) but I'd love to help out.....my hubby plays guitar.....so he can serenade us while we're flippin' pancakes.....oh and I'll bring the maple syrup....I gotz that covered! hahaha!
i think I may be able to do some omelettes. I only have a small george foreman grill/griddle, but omelettes are a specialty. And good for protein and energy
Or I'll give ya'll some Special K cereal bars and be done with it
We treat mishaps like sinking ships and I know that I don't want to be out to drift Well I can see it in your eyes like I taste your lips and They both tell me that we're better than this

As a former member of the sapsuckers maple syruping club at school (don't ask...) I think a lot of people should bring bottles of syrup so we can have a maple syrup drinking contest. It's pretty nasty, gets you really sticky and may cause you to barf afterwards, but it's fun. Trust me!

Awesome idea... saw MF and Spearhead the other night, and they ROCKED!!! What an incredible show.

We are definatley down. There are eight of us in our group but I seriously doubt that everyone will come. More than likely four at most. We will bring some eats to share. Not sure what yet, but I'll figure it out between now and June.

My sister and I are definitely in and might be bringin along some bloody marys. Could somebody let me know where people are finding unofficial schedule times.
Post by spookymonster on Mar 20, 2007 21:32:12 GMT -5
I don't think anyone has a schedule yet. Some people are discussing last year's schedules, which may be what you're thinking of. Other than that, the closest thing I've found to a schedule is on Pollstar:
I've been lurking for a few days now, but I just wanted to say that you all are awesome. I've learned so much reading these boards, and it's made me so much more excited about Bonnaroo itself. Originally, I almost backed out of going because I remembered how dirty I was at the end of the day from Langerado this year and my friend was all "Oh yeah, there's no showers and you camp for four days," when we started discusssing 'Roo. I was really wary, but now that I know of the wonders of Baby Wipes and $10 showers, I'm all ready to go!
So in short, I'm posting here because I feel really indebted to all of you. The kind of indebtedness that makes me want to make or bring lots of food to share.

^^^I agree with your sentiments whole heartedly Jess. I would have been lost (not to mention probably stinky and underprepared) without this board. Hope I get a chance to meet you at brunch.

I just remembered the scene in Super Troopers, haha. "You have to coat the balls, Rabbit."
"White collar conservative flashin down the street, pointing that plastic finger at me, they all assume my kind will drop and die, but I'm gonna wave my freak flag high." Jimi Hendrix
I'm totally down for attending brunch. Sounds like a good time to me!!! But only if I can come with my friends. There not inforooers but they are native Tennesseans. If they come there will probably be maybe 4 including myself. But that's just a rough estimate. And as far as food, if someone could help out with maybe a pot and a stove I think some good ole southern grits might be a nice addition and also would go along with the theme of the weekend. If anyone could help with the supplies needed in order to prepare them I'll bring them.
Also, I'm totally down for heading down to Franti with ya'll. Lets storm the gates of Roo and lineup at that front gaurd rail on the What Stage for some hip-hop jammin!!!!!!!!
