That looks a lot like the one K-mart was supposed to have at the same price (but never seemed to have in stock). Let us know how it lays. I may just go this route eventhough I had already given up on the hammock idea.

Don't give up just yet! I called K-Mart today, and my timing was perfect. They had just gotten a couple hammocks in, and I snagged one. I'll set it up tonight, and let you know how it is......
We got one of these last year. We didn't try bringing it into centeroo b/c it was too heavy, but it was perfect at the campsite. Perfect for a nap in the shade, yet folds away so you can still walk around camp when you're not using it. It was hard for us to justify the price as well, but there are no regrets... well, except there's one with a SHADE now! grrrr!
Oh, and my husband is 6'1" and had no problem fitting in it.

Just set it up tonight.......it's quite comfy, and seems very sturdy. For $49, I think it was the steal deal of the century! I'm just wondering if I can ever hook up "normal" hammocks to the frame, since I am assuming that the length is a bit shorter than the typical hammock.
Anybody know what the typical hook-to-hook length should be for most hammocks?
Just built a hammock stand out of left over fence poles and $9 worth of PVC fittings. Don't know if it helps any of y'all but I'm psyched. If you're lucky enough to have some old pipe laying around, give it a try.
So I was Costco at lunch today and saw this. Now I have to contemplate if I wat to spend $60 more.
It is a Coleman Weekender Hammock. It is portable with its own bag. It says $59.99 on the web but I think it was a couple bucks less in the store. They had a display so i tried it out. It appeared durable and plenty large enough for my 5' 11" frame.
I got the Ozark one from wal-mart as well. Sets up very easy (Watch your toes and fingers) yes .. i did smash both. It has an adjustable length by flipping the metal handles. Either cot style or swing style. I also setup the shade/canopy above it. Has 4 poles kinda small but between 10:30am-1:30pm Im sure it would provide ample shade.
Also when I wake up and the tent is tooo hot im going to jump in the hammock for a few more hours. Hang Loose.
