I was thinking about bringing pasta and sauce. the pasta wont go bad and the sauce will be fine in the cooler. at night i figure i'll just boil some water and heat the sauce on my camping stove. I'm a regular mario batali.
to any new yorkers/food network fans -- do yourself a huge favor and go to batali's Babbo. Its right by Wash. Square Park. By far the best pasta in the city.
I've sent in my application to the Real World. So I'm hoping to hear back from that. I'm putting A LOT of my eggs into that basket, the MTV basket. I'm also thinking about getting a gun, and dealing crack. Being a crack dealer. Not like a mean crack dealer, but like... like a nice one. Kinda friendly like, "hey, what's up guys? Want some crack?"
I'm budgeting for three people. About $30-$40 per person I'd say
deli meat 2 loaves of bread peanut butter/jelly case of cup of noodles hotdogs/buns sauce/pasta chips/salsa powerade powder hot cocoa instant coffee/creamer instant oatmeal granola bars/special k cereal bars applesauce (freeze them for a nice cool treat I like the mango ones) apples/oranges oreos
several jugs of water a couple of packs of 24case bottled water some cases of beer ;D
I've heard people talk we will prob take home half the food. But I think I've chosen stuff we would eat at the camp. I plan on eating some good Roo food anyway. I want gyros and never had falufel? heh

First roo and pretty much all of the hot food we will buy at Roo. The rest is going to be chips & salsa (plastic container), a lb of chex mix, clif bars/other energy bars, emergen-C, glookinade powder, gatorade powder, wheat thins, triscuits, tons of water, and maybe but some good pizza in ziploc bags and eat some cold pizza there. Other than that I cant wait to try some alligator tail
"That's the big thing about education. People can be book smart, but not really intelligent about anything else. A lot of times they just taking in all this information and regurgitate it. It's much more important to process it and personalize it. To apply it to your world, to your life. You have to walk the walk, or you can't really report about it honestly."
