I get out of work on Tuesday at 4, and ill be on the bus by 10pm. I'll be at Walmart by about 1pm Wed. Back on the greyhound Monday morning at 9am, and home by midnight. I've got the 19th to recoup.

That should be plenty of time. Last year we took off two weeks and had too much time before we left..... imagine being packed two days too early. Had to get in the party favors to kill time!
my work wont give me my time off but when they do and if they dont im still leaving the 13 at night and taking off till monday go back on tuesday... If im not driving do u think a half a day is enough time to recover...
My boss is a total psyco when it comes to days of but I have a contract that he signed so I have 11-18 off, back to work on 6-19. That first day back my battered body may have to be there but my mind will be in Manchester Tn.

13th - 18th off. I need very little recoup time for my job. Plus since I spend money at Roo I need to make some of that back before I go to NYC 3 weeks after that. Too many damn vacations
i'm taking the 13th - 18th off, but i'll be 'working from home' on the 19th. i learned my lesson last year trying to go back to the office the day after i return.

lucky me, i only bartend on sunday's... already got another girly to cover the 'roo sunday, don't have to be back to work until after a week of recoup.

LOL I wish I could take that much time off!! I am taking off Friday the 15th and back to work at 7am on Monday......
Glad to see I am not the only one who will be back to work on Monday. We have the 14th and 15th off..but have to head home on Sunday. My co-workers are less than thrilled I will be out..this is our busiest time where I work..I tried not to smile when I told them I would be gone ;D Monday will be a killer to be back...oh well..I won't think about that part just yet!

So... I have very limited vacation time. I am leaving Thursday night after work, taking Friday off, and driving 8 hours back to Chicago to be at work Monday morning. Not looking forward to it one bit. One day off.

I have to go back to work that Monday Morning... Only cuz everyone at work compalined about be getting time off on race weekend ( i live and work right by a NASCAR track) so I hope to god I will be able to get enough sleep on the drive home to be ready that next morning
