I have a MAJOR year end presentation on the 19th. I tried to move it but no luck. I'll prep ahead of time but I can imagine....uh....oh, some gaps in my thoughts. Wish me well!

im soo mad. can only take off the friday and monday. so i wont be there till friday night. i cant believe its 28 DAYS whhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhoooooooo!
I haven't told my boss yet, and I actually plan on giving him very little notice. My theory behind it is, if I tell him and he fires me, I better at least have enough cash in the bank to get me to Roo and back. So I figure I'll just tell him a week before I go, right after I collect my paycheck:
Me: "Hey man, I'm taking a week off starting next Tuesday. I understand if you want to fire me, but if you would like me back, I would be happy to work on the following Wednesday. So, should I come back for that shift or am I out of a job?"
Take me or leave me, I'm going to TN either way. I hope he likes my down-to-earth approach.
i'll be off from the 13th to the 25th. and i only live 4 hours away so only very little time will be spent traveling - woot woot!! ;D
oh yea, and i asked for my time off in DECEMBER back when i could only speculate what the actual dates of the festival would be - now that's just ridiculous.

Hah! I like your style. If I was your boss I would take you back. At severely reduced pay.

i requested 13th-20th off right after they announced the line-up. lucky too, one of my co-workers tried to request the same days off for a vegas trip and was denied thanks to my 'thinking-way-too-ahead-of-time' ways. the best part is that the company i work for lost all of my hire-on package and two weeks ago, asked me when my first day was, i lied (i don't feel bad lying to a corporation), now i get paid 11.25 an hour to play at Roo!!!!!!
I got off the 13th-20th. I just started a new job, and I didnt really give them a choice but to give me the time off. Sure they didnt have to hire me, but why would they be so foolish?
