last year I was paid to be there; this year my company was sold and I'm taking the summer off to learn to surf, screenprint and paint......been living a charmed life ever since I started going to Bonnaroo.

I started my current job in December and asked off for Bonnaroo pretty much immediately... I'm soooo lucky, my boss bought my tickets (guest passes), gave me off Jun 12-19, and is not deducting the days from my vacation time! What a gift!

I know, I'm very lucky! My boss knows Rich Goodstone (who runs Superfly) and he got me the tickets/vacation time as a "thank-you-for-being-my-personal-slave" gift.
wicky that is pretty much unbeatably awesome...I on the other hand took the 14th-18th off and driving down immediately at 5 pm on Wednesday evening. you guys think I'll get there in time (14 hr. drive or so) with traffic and everything? or should i take off the 13th too...

This is the first year I realized that The Home Depot gives their employees personal time and vacation time... Ive worked there 2.5 years, and I just now noticed that I can get paid to go to Bonnaroo, I thought you had to be full time to get vacation/personal time... This would have been great to know seeing how i've been too all bonnaroos except 2002, but oh well...
Im taking off the 12-24th, and im visiting family and friends in Charlottesville, VA after roo.
Hopefully Direct Deposit will go through (I am putting in for it today) by thursday at Bonnaroo, but if not at least I will have some money waiting for me here in NY...
ooh, and I'm bringing my little sister to her first roo this year, she was so nervous about it, but I sent her a link to inforoo, and I just got a text message from her saying "now I'm siked..."
