Last year we brought the baby diaper rash cream - can't remember the name. It worked great. However, there are numerous other posts on here lauding the virtues of Gold Bond.
The baby cream is Desenex. Never had Roo-rash at roo but have had it at amusement parks after a water ride and long day of walking in jeans. It is miserbale.
Advice: wear loose clothing that dry quickly. I wash at the trough twice a day too so maybe that helps.
I usually wear swin trunks as underwear when I'm not wearing underarmor at roo. It tends to help the boy breathe a little easier and keeps the junk rot away.
for the guys i suggest a good pair of boxer tighty whitey's you can pull the junk to the front and not worry about the side to side action that 9 times out of ten can cause the "rash".................girls have stuff boys have junk........junk always tends to rust. an the gold bond is a gond sent.........but dont get the medicated kind to ease a rash its more like a flock wasp attacking your junk.
*i like coconuts, you can break them open they smell like ladies lyin in the sun** *Hell I don't even know where I am** *for now I must sit here and ponder the yonder: The herbivores did well cause their food didn't never run** *We listen, if it feels good We shake** *You made a big impression for a girl of your size, Now I can't get by without you and your big brown eyes.**

A little prevention goes a loonng way too. Before you head out for the day, spread some aftershave on the inner thighs and more personal areas. BE WAY CAREFUL NOT TO GET TOO PERSONAL, though !
This will give you a baby's butt smooth area that will shun friction for several hours in the heat.
And make sure it is aftershave------It has properties that cologne doesn't ! You're doing it for the feel, not the smell !
i have not tried it yet. but after my situation at hookahville it seems worth a try. ill be getting some on the way to roo along with some under armour type underoos. and once the bonnarash hits hits my friend swears by preperation h. although i havent tried that either. but im bringing a bag full of goodies so i can make attempts until something works.
Gold Bond is definitely a life saver.....that is, IF you can make it through the first 10 minutes of pure insane torture....great balls of fire!!
Okay, so I did my pre-roo shopping today, and bought my first ever bottle of gold bond...extra strength was all they had...and of course, i'm curious by nature...so i tried it out...and YEEHAW!! great balls of fire indeed.
But, it seems effective (certainly well loved around here), so, I'm going with it.
well i just wanna clarify cuz it will make me feel better. for me bonnarash = chaff. bonnarash sounds like it could be any number of horrible things
and im with boomer. i have always found baby powder to work better then gold bond. of course i used the wrong gold bond and am now against gold bond for life. that is some serious pain!

i don't know if it's a southern thing or not, but i believe it's called burt's butt paste (could be a little mixed up on the name) but i remember it works wonders! it's diaper rash creame, and is good for preventative and after treatments!
GOLD BOND POWDER!!! GOLD BOND POWDER!!! GOLD BOND POWDER!!! There is NO substitute. I know it as server ass... you restaraunt folks know what i'm talking about, and it's the last thing you want when you have to walk a half mile between the stages and your camsite. A light coating on the problem area works wonders.
I saw a guy selling little bottles of Gold Bond for $5. He was advertising it as molly for your balls.
It is one of those items that you will be glad you brought if you need it.
