so during my roo experience our site was hit by a flag theif we caught him in the act of attempting to steal our flag, he hit several sites around us i had brought extra flags so i replaced all mny neighbors flags that were stolen. just wondering if anyone else was hit, the guy we caught seem to be on a mission and out of his mind he made a comment that he had stolen atleast 40

Do you happen to have a bunch of tats and were camped in tent only? Some one loaned you a case of water to help hold down your tarps on thurs.
Cause the same thing happend to a guy that was camped next to us and the kids behind us. Every person I saw with a pirate flag got warned about it.

this was my 1st roo. i saw the pirate vs. ninja thread thing on here. i did not read it. i knew nothing about this apparant "war". i bought a jolly roger flag for roo thinking it would help me find my way back to camp. my flag got stolen and i am still pissed about it. i thought roo was all about being kind to your neighbors, treating people with respect, watching out for eachother. i paid $30 for my flag just so some azzhole can steal it for a fu<knig kiddie war?? it may have been a joke to some "ninja" azzhole, but that is my property wich i paid good money for. stealing is still stealing. some may say that it's just a flag, let it go. it's the same as breaking into my car or going into my tent. NOT FU<KING COOL!!
god the world is small... I seem to know who stole all of your flags, one of homeslice's buddies next time you see him stealing your pirate flag.. ask for a trade then mention Lucy.. trust me you'll be glad you did one drop wonder kid!
edit: When we met up with him at all good... we realized why the pirates had won the war at Marvin's Mountaintop and, yes the number was more towards the 60s

this should probably go in random thoughts, but since i brought up the porta potty thing..could you image being in the porta right next to when someone blew it up....scary to think about
The Camp Inforoo flag got stolen at Echo Project. We woke up that morning (Sunday) and it was gone along with A LOT of others.
Wooz found it when he was up to the venue that morning. All of the flags that had been stolen that night were set out in a booth up there so you could come and get yours.
The guy did say that my flagpole was the hardest one at the entire festival to disassemble and that he had t come back three times to get it because they thought they heard someone waking up. And, he cut his hand on it....
We got it back though, and rest assured, I am taking measures with the flagpole to try and eliminate this from happening again. If they thought they ahd to work for it at Echo, they are really going to have to work for it at roo...
There has to be a way to set up a flag alarm system. It would be cool if said system also sprayed silly string from 18 different directions at the thief thus disorienting them for easy tacklage
