anyone know of some great sites for sundresses for ladies that are well endowed?
This year I'm going with the bf, so I don't wanna scrub it all weekend like last year, but my problem with sundresses is i'm a 34F but I wear a size 9, so anything i can't wear a bra under is kinda out of the question. so any advice on some sites?
Say hey johnny boy, the battle call United we stand, divided we fall Together we are what we can't be alone We came to this country you made it our home
^I have the same problem (34DDD). I have a really hard time finding dresses, but one of the things I've done to make it easier is adding my own straps to line up with my bra straps using either extra fabric, or ribbon. I also have no prob throwing a tank under a dress. I posted a pic somewhere in here. I'll try to track it down.

I have a few sundresses from Soulflower.com and Walmart that have thick enough straps they cover my bra straps. I wear about a size 8ish top and am 34D so a strapless bra just won't work for me. I have a strapless dress (Target) also and I wear a VS full coverage halter bikini top under it.

i used to be a 34D but have gotten down to a 34B - so i used to look for dresses that covered my bra. the great thing is there are so many options, really. i don't know what your budget or style is like (but i am going to say it again) I LOVE forever 21! you can get simple styles for a great price.
although in the past i did run into the problem of the tops of dresses not fitting well enough to "hold me in", i have had luck with other styles. just depends on what you are looking for and what they have. good luck!
Hello! This will be my first 'Roo experience, and I cannot wait. I am so glad that I found this thread. My friends and I will be road-tripping it from Michigan, and with five of us in the car, I cannot afford to pack much. I've been creeping on this for the past few days, and it has really helped. Well, with the packing issue....this find may have augmented my procrastination problems. It was fun reading this; not so fun staying up until 3 am to finish an essay when I have a 3-hour chem lab early the next morning. Well, it is worth it. Thinking of Bonnaroo is the only thing keeping me sane these last few weeks of school. I don't really have any questions thus far (I'm sure I will when it gets closer), but I just wanted to say thanks for all of the great ideas!
P.S. I love that you all seem to be such good friends on here. It's so cute!

Seems like we all need F21 anonymous! Hahahah. I love the one in downtown Chicago but my favorite would have to be the one at Great Lakes Crossing in Michigan. It's HUGE. I always have luck there.
I always have the problem of fitting clothes to myself when I sew, and I'm just wondering if this might be a viable alternative to investing in an adjustable dress form, which is kinda pricey. I'd like to make some things for Roo but I know I'll never wear them if they don't fit properly!

I will deff stop into forever 21, if its any help i tend to have that vintage, almost Williamsburg hipster style....haha yea, i'm not afraid to admit the bf and i walk that fine line.

I've been considering making one of these for awhile now. I know someone around here did and even posted pics. I can't remember who it was, but it is somewhere within these 187 pages.

Ah, excellent!! I'll look around. I might just give it a shot too, even if it goes badly I guess the worst that can happen is getting stuck in there
I haven't made one yet but plan on it (duct tape mannequin) I remember seeing on Threadbanger how to make one with the brown packaging tape, too. It looked nicer than the duct tape one, but I would imagine the duct tape would be easier to work with. Some people also cover them with a smooth layer of paper mâché and then paint them to make them prettier in their rooms. If you aren't looking for your exact measurements try looking at thrift stores. I saw three at the goodwill last week, but I didn't pick one up because I thought I could do better than the $30 dollar price point. And if you want one to display clothes only, the have inflatable ones at amazon. I stumbled across pervy inflatable dolls during my search though. Hehe

it's okay. i am a loyal urban outfitters/f21/anthropologie/local boutique shopper. i toe this line too ;D

On the Forever 21 note, I have to admit that when I went to San Francisco a couple of years ago the 3 story F21 was where I got the most excited all trip. Lol.

Well....I've given in to my Roo shopping addiction again today. I really think I have a problem. Anyway, I got a cute new dress for Roo at www.surffanatics.com (on sale ;D) and I got some new brown Teva flip flops from www.shoes.com!!! Shoes.com is having a 10% off sale so they were a little cheaper than anywhere else plus no tax and free shipping!
Here's the dress:
And the shoes:
I also got a pretty new lime green bra at VS today but I wasn't really thinking about Roo when I bought that.

hah. you sound like me. i have 2 though, and saw a ceiling zephyr fan on craigslist im tempted to buy. thing is, im not even sure i'll be at Roo, but i feel like i gotta prepare while I still find cheap finds.
Also, I'm not into Forever 21 *hears gasps* but for some reason, I like to shop at Wet Seal...and online always, it seems, lol. They always have stuff on clearance/sale. And I get emails all the time about $0.99 shipping and whatnot.

I work at Express so I always feel like shopping at F21 or anywhere else is sort of like cheating. And it feels expensive cause I don't get my discount :-) Buuuut, I do love finding stuff in there. It's like a jungle of clothing and I'm a jaguar hunting for the perfect tunic....
And if any of y'all are in Austin, you've probably seen this before...definitely a big trend here. But I got some feather hair extensions!
I want to get more in some brighter colors before 'roo...maybe to match my Rootu??? Anyway these are just like real hair extensions...last for 2-4 months and you can wash, dry, and style them just like your hair. Only $20/bundle of feathers!
