I'm generally ok with the bust size issue... but I realized 1 main type of clothing I feel like I cant pull off easily is a tube top. There are cute ones but I've never owned 1 since I felt like I had nothin to keep it up, and I think having a bigger bust helps draw attention away from any belly fat.
I started off taking my meds in the morning and it never worked well. I don't have long drives to work or anything, so by the time an hour went by, I'd pretty much be at work and either skipped my meds or skipped breakfast (not sure why I didn't take any with me). I think I might just stick with nights for Roo, but not necessarily right when I sleep since that could be 5am or something and don't want worse issues of insomnia and whatnot. I'll just only keep 1 or 2 pills in the current prescription bottle with me and take it sometime after dinner when I know I wont eat for a while. The rest can stay somewhere safe at camp. I'm just thankful it's not for something life threatening. It's not a big deal if I end up skipping/forgetting, but that happens often enough normally, so hoping I wont skip it even more at Roo. We shall see...
Oh gosh...I'd hate to have my period then. I went to another fest 2 years in a row and had it (felt like a curse, lol!). Not fun needing to go to the portapotties more often.
Anyway, back to fashion... I've gotten a bit addicted to Wet Seal. It's hard for me not to order clothes, especially if it says "a few left" or if it's on clearance. I'm not even a girly girl that likes to shop a lot, but Wet Seal is my weakness. All this talk of new stores makes me wonder what else I'd like out there... I wish I knew where to find a visor like my VT one. It has an adjustable stretchy band in the back that doesn't hurt my head like normal visors. Velcro is annoying too. I looked up the name on the tag and Tech's websites and cant find another one. My current 1 is sun damaged/dirty looking, but I still might end up wearing it. I prefer visors over sunglasses.
Also, if you're on birth control look at your pills to see if mother nature will be paying you a visit during Bonnaroo. You can skip your inert week and go straight to your next pack to reschedule your period.
Thats how Seasonale and similar works, just a longer phase of the estrogen/progesterone mix before the placebo pills (no hormone), which induces the period. So its totally ok to do that once in awhile...just be careful you might need refills sooner.
All I can say is embrace your A cup. When you are 40 and you do not have saggy boobs you will be SO thankful If money were no object, it would be the only plastic surgery I would consider, just make me a non-saggy B cup!!
Me too! I would happily trim down the girls!
Me too! I've seriously considered it! I decided I would wait until after I have kids. I don't want to pay all that money to get them reduced and then have the get all big again if I get pregnant one day! lol

I'm seriously considering it, too. But I've decided that I cannot have surgery unless I get down to my goal weight, and they are still unmanageable. Gotta exhaust all natural methods before going to the extreme.
The best BC I've ever tried is the Nuva Ring. Fewer hormones, so fewer side effects, and you only have to think about it once a month. I could never remember to take a pill at the same time every day.

I already have done that. I have never weighed more than 135 and am 130 right now at 5ft 4 and mine are still unmanagable. Surgery is really my only option but I don't see it being in the finances

Oh believe me, that was a big part of the reason I wanted to go on the pill in the first place! My periods were really irregular and my body just seemed to have the WORST timing, and I just got SO SICK of ended up with my period for Bonnaroo. Was determined to go on the pill so I wouldn't have to worry about it! My placebo week is going to be the one immediately following Roo, so I MIGHT not even have to worry about it, but I'll have to see how it goes. If my period decides it would like to show up immediately on Sundays or Mondays then I might have to skip that one, but either way I should be in pretty good shape. Of course that's all if some sort of miracle happens and I get to GO to Bonnaroo, but whatever. Optimism!
anyone know of a good comfy strapless bra that will support Ds? all the strapless bras i have tried offer no support
I know of supportive, but not comfortable. The best way I've found for a strapless bra to work on my D cups is to get a band size too small and a cup size too big. Can't remember where I heard that, but it really works.
'course, then it's so tight that wearing it for more than a few hours is impossible. And I would NEVER wear such a bra on the farm. That's just asking to be cranky.
Actually, turns out that I DON'T know of supportive. The bra I like isn't availabe anymore. But I still recommend the small-band + large-cup dealio.
Okay! Im catching up - things to remember to talk about Mayo... meds, Dots, boobs. meds, Dots, boobs.
Meds!!! I started some pretty intense meds last year THE WEEK of bonnaroo. (it was necessary for my mental well being!) And I took them when I went to bed. Because A) not a big hallucinogen user, so when i was going to bed i was just tired and it was easy to remember. I put them in my pillow case so I couldnt forget... lay your head on a pillow with a bottle of pills and all you hear is "shaka shaka shaka." And B) Had no idea how I'd feel taking them in the morning, so I was able to "sleep off" the first few hours of "effects". AND Im on Nuvaring too!!! That stuff is the shizzz. One time a month!? Nothing to remember everyday!? Brilliant.
Dots - I have one of these places LITERALLY 2 miles from my house but i've never been in it. AND just YESTERDAY was swinging by the shopping center where it's located and thought, "I really need to pop in there sometime..." ...so now i have my excuse. If the GFT Ladies say it's good, I'm going.
Boobs!!! I used to have As, and I wanted Cs. Now that I have Cs, I wish I had As. They get in the WAY so much. When I was littler, I could wear a halter top or a strapless with NOTHING underneath. No big whoops. Now, it's like a freaking QUEST to find supportive bras etc, and it's a freaking EVENT to get dressed. I may look carefree and light and floaty in that sundress, but I went to GREAT PAINS to make myself look that way... it's likely that beneath that sunny fairy sundress, there is armour holding in those giant Cs. That said - at Roo - welllllllll..... I can let it slide. I wear a bikini top with every dress. Some of them dont even have wires. Jiggling be damned. In general, Im more concerned with being on FIRE than how my boobs feel. So the support isnt a primary concern for me, as long as I can stay cool. ish.
Lastly - i sincerely apologize to the ladies who have requested pins and not gotten one. my job has been all up in my grill lately, so i've completely forgotten to send them. I walk into the office and proceed to stress out for 9-10 hours, then i get home and i crash. I will pack them at home this weekend, so all I have to do is drop them in the mail on Monday. <3

I think the cups run a little big in some of the bras, so if you're not a very full D you may want to go down to a C. If there is a Lane Bryant store nearby you can go in to get sized and try it on. Cacique is the only brand of bra I will buy anymore. They fit well and last forever! I wait till they are on sale buy 2 get 2 free then stock up.

Thank you for the suggestion kat! I never even thought to look at Lane Bryant for bras! I wear a 36D or DD and they have lots of CUTE bras in my size!!! I love not having to settle for just plain old black, white, light pink, or tan!!! Oh and they are having a sale...buy one get one 50% off and you can also get $20 off of $40(which ends today) so I was able to get $66 worth of bras for $32 and it's free shipping if you get it sent to the store! Can you tell I'm excited! lol (Oh and I got one of the strapless bras so I'll let you ladies know how it is when it comes in. It got great reviews on the website.)
I just saw this article called "What Not to Buy at Forever 21" and thought of all of you. I'm sure we all understand that something as cheap as the clothes there is not going to last forever, but I wanted to share so we are all informed little roo-shoppers.

I just got back from TJ Maxx and they have SO many Roo friendly dresses there. Most of them have thin straps but they had lots of really lightweight long and short, colorful dresses. I wanted so many of them

Interesting perspective. I agree about their shorter dresses, and I would never buy their jeans. However, the maxi dresses I have purchased from F21 are FANTASTIC!

i like the article about forever 21. i do think that they should put the length of their "dresses" on their website because if you order their dresses they are really shirts.

so true about dress length. luckily i am 5'3", but my gf is 5'7" and they are always too short on her/perfect on me. ONE good thing about being short, i guess

I'm usually comfy in either a 38dd or 36e and Ive had many many bras from here and they're not only comfy but they hold up well... great recommend
i made a tarp out of colorful shower curtains. i got four for 1 per at big lots and taped them together. i used it as a temporary tarp for shade etc. i didnt use it as a structure etc. it worked well.
i have a non roo question. i like th enew boho tops and the kaftans and tunics however im pretty tiny with large boobs and these styles make me look like a pregnant gnome. what can i wear with these styles to bring the waist in. i tend to wear vests but they dont seem to look right or im nto wearing the right one with them. im sure the answer is belt but the ones ive tried dont look right. i consdiered sewing ribbons on ththe back so that i can tie them to fit in back. does anyone have any other ideas. i have several pretty ones and the weather is perfect for them now.

i just went to simply fashions and they have tons of cute stuff including little sundresses. i bought a really cool hippie print jump suit. i like it because it strapless with a bandau style top and a gathered waist so it will be easy in bathroom break situations - no snaps belts etc. i also bought some other things. they had really cute kaftan tops and bright shorts!
Belltwalla.. I would belt anything too loose at the smallest part of your waist. This doesn't have to be a giant uncomfortable leather belt. They make all kinds of Roo friendly materials that are stretchy, breathable, or both. I have a crochet looking elastic like white belt with a leather like buckle. It is super comfy and it doesn't bother me at all. I got mine from Ross, but Urban Outfitters and Forever 21 should have something similar. I even saw some cute hand sewn fabric belts in a little boutique next to Harvest Records in Asheville that had different prints like paisly and other bohemian styles. They just wrapped around and connected with Velcro so that they could adjust to any size without looking awkward. I have a kariza type skirt dress thing I got at bonnaroo last year that makes me look preggers unless I belt it. It makes a huge difference.
