Welcome back Bonz, but I do not find it strange that your presence being requested in the Orgy thread and then you showing up, like it was the quacking Bonzai Bat Signal.
Are those yours? They are way cuter than the ones in that link.
Yeah I changed the process up a little, the blog talks about watering down the dye for a watercolor effect. I wanted mine to be brighter. They did fade a little after drying but I'm pleased. Very easy and cheap!!
(Thanks mad and bonz

Ooh I love those! I bet they'd even be nice during the day. You'll have to tell us how you like them.
Now I'm wondering if that galaxy dye would work on white cutoffs.
yes it would! i actually went to pick up some more shoes today to finish tonight and tried on a pair of white shorts but they were a little too short for my liking. just make sure you follow the dye instructions like you would a tshirt.
I had to show this to you guys because so many of you are talented with textiles. Basically it's an infinity scarf that has storage pockets. They'recalling it a clutch wrap purse. www.sholdit.com/collections/frontpage
Found a cool website through Pinterest yesterday called Altrec. I found a cute Hurley dress 50% off that I ordered. Not sure about the sizing, but apparently they have a very generoud return policy. Here's the link to the one I bought: www.altrec.com/hurley/womens-queenstown-dress/
Lots of other cute dresses on sale right now!

What! I want that.
Two things: 1 - I want to make this. 2 - I envision an infinity scarf, which is basically a tube of fabric... then with a zipper in it... and me trying to get my phone or my money or whatever OUT, and just spinning the scarf around and around and around and around and around and around and around and around and the stuff never properly falling out of the zipper.

They even had some people wearing it like a shrug. And I know about the sewing, I've always said if this were the pioneer days my family would be fat and naked
Sad news on the sewing front: I told a friend that he can move in for a few months and take over the third room... whiiiiiiich has my "new" sewing machine. Unless I can figure something out, it might have to go to the attic and my sewing desires will be put off.
Those are totally amazing Konstantine, and I am pretty sure most of the GFTers will agree that fanny packs can be pretty rad!! I bought a fanny pack/pocket belt thing in Asheville during Moog (CKS and Abra were there!) and I CANNOT wait to use it. It's a style along the lines of your first link, but less hip and more hippie (cloth, flowered...)

Do you ladies generally use a Camelbak and if yes is it one of the "women's models" or a regular one? Have you noticed a big difference? I think I'm gonna finally take the plunge this year.
WHERE WAS I DURING THIS MOOG SHOPPING SPREE?! I wanna see it bonz, post pics.
katbur - I use a women's camelbak. It's the jam. I have physically put on a mens version and then put on a women's version - I def like the women's better bc the straps are sliiiiightly more curved, making room for the lady lumps. Also, the chest strap is generally adjustable, but it goes up higher for women, so it's more up on top of the boobs, as opposed to down under them or over the "apex" if you know what im talkin' bout. ...And they come in prettier colors. ;D
