Welcome back Bonz, but I do not find it strange that your presence being requested in the Orgy thread and then you showing up, like it was the quacking Bonzai Bat Signal.

SUPER SUPER Cute dress! I love that color. It looks like it'll stay cool.
i dont have internet at our house right now, so I have to use my iPhone for everything. Its okay for some stuff, but when it comes to looking at clothes and junk-- it blows.
I am going to be checking out Ross soon! Spring shit is coming out! I think the best skirts are spring skirts. Flowy and what not. I wish I could wear more sundresses, but I feel like my girls are EVERYWHERE. (walks in- everyone stars at my chest and says Nice....uh tattoos.) Rofl.
This may be my only time to make a legit post in this thread One time at the Roo, my ex gf made this quilt. I put the pics on the quilt, one being of us and one of BonnieRoo (we actually call her Roo) .... After we set up camp, we went around our neighbors and asked if they would sign the quilt. I thought it was sort of cool anyway, esp since I can't sew at all, and I can't write all that well either ... cr****

bonzai don't worry! I'm still not convinced, and for now, firmly on the team
dreamingtree I had forgotten about Soul Flower!! I wish it wasn't so expensive, but the clothing is so perfect and beautiful. I may treat myself as well.........
Now if you'll excuse me, I'm going to go on an overnight drunk, and in 10 days I'm going to set out to find the shark that ate my friend and destroy it. Anyone who wants to tag along is more than welcome.

I was just at Ross day before yesterday and found some AWESOME dresses and tops for Roo. Most were $12 or under. I didn't buy anything for Roo because I was there for a specific purpose, but I will definitely be shopping there again soon for some of those dresses. I almost took pictures of all the ones I loved so I could post here, but had to remind myself again and again that I was there for a specific purpose and that I didn't have time for distractions, lol!

Hey Ladies! I've lurked around for ages but never actually posted in here, so ELLO, MATES!
Here's my question to y'all - For you shorter haired ladies, how do you deal with your hair at Roo? My first was 2011, and my hair was long enough then to at least put it up. Right now, it's a short stacked bob. Can't even pull off a stubby ponytail. Scarves and bandannas tend to look strange with the hair poking out in all directions at the nape of my neck (you know what I mean? no?) and so I'm not quite sure what I'll do this year.

I'm probably no help because my hair is really long, but can you pull off at hat? It'll keep the sun off your face and hide your hair a bit. Oh, and WELCOME to the GFT!

What about a longer scarf that you can tuck all the hair at the nape of your neck into? This is what I do with my hair, though I have a pixie. But I like the extra fabric that the long scarf gives me - protects my neck a bit and I can pretend I have long hair again I'm thinking like the first picture in this link:

If you wait long enough, most things eventually go on sale for a decent price. Their stuff is made very well and I've had some of their blouses and dresses for years and they wash and last well.
Old Navy has lots of cute dresses and skirts out now for spring! I bought 4 dresses last week (good prices at tj maxx), plus some glittery eye makeup and neon nail polish. Went a little crazy...oops!

Hey! I've been wondering what to do to, cause I have an asymmetrical bob that has really short stacked layers in the back. I found this at soulflower yesterday (gah, I'm a sucker!) and it looks like it might work to keep my hair back...we'll see. www.soul-flower.com/hippie/SOL312/Positive+Messages+Boho+Tube+Headband.html the gal in the picture has short hair and she made this headband work and it looks cute too! otherwise i'm stuck in a hat all weekend.
This is my all-time favorite skirt to wear during the summer/at Roo. I cut slits up the sides so it's very breezy. I also cut the part that makes it not see through just enough so it covers my shorts. Sooooo comfy and light! I wear them at my belly button, and match it with a bathing suit top/crop top.

Slits are smart. I wore a long skirt on a bit Friday 2010. I nearly went crazy I was so hot and had to change after about an hour (luckily we were camped close to Centeroo). For some reason cutting slits in the side didn't occur to me. I was going to chop it off at my knees, but I decided that wasn't the best idea.
To think of it, I had to wear shorts more often because of this and I NEVER wore shorts. Now I live in my denim cut offs for most of the summer. Win. <3 Roo
Also bonzai I'm still firmly (ha!) on team underwire. I like the sports bra, but I don't think I could wear it all day.

Slits is a really good idea! One of my faaaavorite dresses comes togethera little too small at the bottom. If I need to dance or walk quickly.. well.. I can't! Maybe some slits cleaned up and reinforced could work...
That's a super cute skirt and I am tempted... I think that I'd end up buying it and not wearing it, though. I am way more of a dress girl.

I'm wearing a skirt now that I just realised is perfect for Roo... But I can't remember the brand! I'll look when I take it off tonight, they have a website.

I'm going to spray tan this year. In afraid of actually tanning. I'm kind of paranoid, lol. And thank you! They're happy!
