I have my go-to festival packing list that I've updated year after year once I find more things I wish I had packed. You can never be too prepared!! Oh and I second the sunscreen on the scalp or putting a cute wide headband to cover your part. I burned mine my 1st year at Bonnaroo, and it started peeling...it was AWFUL!!

We should all post and compare. I'm going to blow my husband out of the water. He was already surprised that Bonnaroo was my first choice for our honeymoon/vacation (since we didnt get a honeymoon)
Having an almost 3yo old- and having him straight out of high school, I lost touch with myself and what I really enjoyed as an individual. I used to be so passionate about music and art, I was a free soul. Don't get me wrong, being a mommy is rewarding in so many ways and he completes my world, but getting involved on inforoo and nonstop fantasizing about bonaroo- it's really sparked the fire of the me I lost a few years ago. It's amazing how children change and shape you.
Cosmic, I get that. I had my daughter when I was 19 which put a real damper on the career I was starting in artist booking and concert promotion. When I started going back to shows and festivals I found myself again and Bonnaroo is a huge part of keeping that person alive (*extra cheese alert!*).
If you guys have suggestions for additions to the Master List of Supreme Organization I'd be happy to update and you can share with friends or bookmark it for packing and prep purposes. I'm thinking I want to start adding camp food recipes and ideas as well.
Oh my goodness ladies... Cosmic and KD... I felt like I was reading my own words. Bonnaroo definitely awakens the sleepy parts of you or the parts you may have forgotten existed. Can't wait to get back on the farm!!!

I saw these and went a little crazy. I'm not much of a make up girl so I need to know if any of you have tried these. How are they to put on, take off, do they damage your lips?

I'm planning high wasted skirts with light colored tanks and swim top/sports bra. I need to get some bike shorts of some long boxer briefs.
You all think of how you're going to keep your hair? I was thinking of keeping a Sunhat on most of the time. Or keep a scarf/bandana in hair for pig tails. We'll see.

However, I may have some sad news for Team Underwire Bonzai. I bought a(so far seemingly) awesome sports bra the other day. I'm going to wear it around, but so far it seems super comfy, it's moisture wicking, and there's enough support that I feel comfortable. Especially on the farm.
I just moved, and in the process of unpacking my storage unit I found all my Roo stuff. I can't wait to go through it all again! I've been collecting clothes for awhile now.
Now if you'll excuse me, I'm going to go on an overnight drunk, and in 10 days I'm going to set out to find the shark that ate my friend and destroy it. Anyone who wants to tag along is more than welcome.

All I can say is if I forget sunscreen I'm done for... I was in the sun for a bit yesterday and I'm fried on my neck and shoulders. Ugh! I just need a good SPF.
I love th halter dress, but I don't have the bust for those styles. Plus a halter strains my neck.

I doubt you'd have to go far without sunscreen at bonnaroo. A vendor sell or a neighbor would share.

seriously if i let myself buy a fest dress or two every time i was there i would have 8 million by now.
and blasphemy as it is, walmart's clothes have gotten way cuter. i spend 120$ on clothes at 4am like a month ago there. lol
I was JUST in walmart last night, and they have some mega decent stuff out. I was on a mission, so I didnt stop to officially peruse, but I did take note of a couple maxi dresses and about a billion cover-up/Roo-perfect dresses.
And Ive officially decided i need some of those glitter lips.

I don't wear sunscreen at Roo (I know, I know), but I carry it around with me for others. Everyone carries everything around wanting to share with everyone.

cinnamon girl, GASSPP!!! (just Kidding). Let me know how you like it! I'd love a cheaper alternative to my 45 dollar underwire sports bra that I use.
I spray myself down with sunscreen whether I want to or not. I also bring everything a girl (or guy) needs to fix themselves up mid day after a fountain dip- spray sunscreen, spray deodorant, brush, extra hair ties... I have helped out many a wet soul Especially in 2010!
I have looked for sundresses in Target a few times, I've only been able to find one that fits my boobs and looks half decent on. I do have much better luck at Walmart, but most of my sundresses come from Marshalls.

They are definitely not my style but they are so fun. I'm one who gets lip zits if I use the wrong lip balm so I'm a bit nervous. I'd have to try them here at home and I'm not sure my family could cope
BTW - Bonzai could you take the beads off the straps and wear the dress anyway?
Also, I can't seem to find a macro setting on my camera for better pics of the earrings. Would the text setting be any good?
If I had smaller boobs, I could probably re-strap it and make it Roo worthy, but I know from experience that won't fit. 90% of dresses with that shape on top- my bra hangs out the top and/or the line that's supposed to be under my boob ends up mid-boob.

Ugh, the boob issues with dresses...I feel you. I found a TON of cute dresses at Ross and TJ Maxx a few weeks ago and they all fit quite nicely. Maxi dresses all the way!
Also, in regards to Wal Mart, they do have some Roo worthy maxi dresses. Probably wouldn't buy much else in the way of clothes but the dresses are legit.

Walmart also has some really great yoga pants/leggings for 11 ish dollars. And regular mens tank tops for three. And I'm going to search for bike shorts there.
Oooh, bike shorts. Might be a good score from WM. Also, I did a DIY tee and used men's V-neck tees from WM and it worked out great. I think the pack of three was maybe $4 or $5.
