I just got my Decree® Eyelet Bralettes. I love the colors but they didn't fit me well. They were a little loose and virtually no support. I tightened the straps but that just brought the cup area up too high and didn't lift my ladies at all. And there is nothing attractive about your ladies being lower than their intended spot.
I ordered large. My bra size ranges from 34DD to 36D to 38C depending on the bra. All essentially the same size but I just never know until I try them. Anyway... I'm going to return them and see if I can find a medium in store and try that. I'm thinking if the fit is a little more snug, the support will be better. If there was an under wire, I think they'd be perfect for me. They are super cute though! I like the fabric too. Glad some of you ladies are having luck w/ them!

Got my o-ring boots resoled for Roo this past weekend. Waiting a bit before I start shopping, but I'm on the lookout for cute country-style dresses that won't look silly with brown leather boots... some kinda ditzy print sundress is what I have in mind. Too bad its not 1996 again, they'd be a lot easier to find!
I too bought a kariza during all that discussion of them a couple years back...but I have never once figured out how to tie it in any sort of style that I would want to wear. Complete waste of money.
(That link shows a few other styles in addition to the crop tops, but all the crop tops are in there.) I know Delia's sizes (or...shapes...) won't work for everybody, but figured I'd point it out in case it does help anyone!
I LOVE those longline bikini tops...love love love!
Now if you'll excuse me, I'm going to go on an overnight drunk, and in 10 days I'm going to set out to find the shark that ate my friend and destroy it. Anyone who wants to tag along is more than welcome.
I say this on a semi regular basis when trying to dress myself.
Also what are o-ring boots??
Fake Frye's, basically! Real Fryes cost like $500 now, mine cost $60 at Target and they are THE BEST (nice leather too). Only downside is you should probably get heel taps put on as the soles wear down fast (but a good cobbler can fix them, I just got mine reheeled for $13). Here's the comparison (mine on the right):
I'm wearin em to avoid the dreaded Bonna-rash, and also cuz they help my back when standing for long periods. Did Tevas last year and it was TERRIBLE for me.... So, I'm hoping I can rock some kinda country chic look this year and not look like a lunatic in sh*tkicker boots and a dress
Bought this today! My first official bonnaroo purchase!
I'm totally biting your style, ma'am- I just ordered this skirt.
BTW, if anyone is a bigger lady like me and looking for stuff that doesn't look granny-ish, I highly recommend Asos Curve. A little pricey, but the quality is great.

Hey I know this has been discussed before, but I couldn't find it... any of you ladies have success bringing a portable flatiron to Roo? The first time I heard of someone doing that I thought, "good lord who would bother!", but now that I have short bangs again, the answer is ME! I would totally bother now!! If you have any success or failure stories, or good brands to recommend, I'd love to hear em....
I'm so happy this thread is here. Being at work that's basically full of men, this thread is my sanity! It's also bad for my wallet. My first year was 2009 and I really did not think much into my wardrobe. It's great bringing a good amount of selections so you can base it off the weather. Ever since then I've always come to this thread to give me great ideas for my music festival of the year. Biker shorts and summer dresses are by far my favorite pick. I bought a camel back and I really enjoyed the convenience of it, but maybe I'm picky or lazy because putting water back in it when you're at one of the water stations was a mess. I went to wakarusa 2 years ago and just brought a gallon jug of water (because I forgot the mouth piece to the camelback, doh!)and lugged it along with a simple girl sized backpack. At night I put glow sticks in the jug to keep track of it. I enjoyed that more, but to each their own I guess. lol

Between the humidity and the near-constant sweating, I knew it was useless to try to do anything remotely like my normal routine with my bangs (when I had long hair & bangs, I straightened them every single day - twice during the summer).
Instead I used something to keep my bangs off my forehead. A barrette, bobby pins, a bandana, a scarf - I've done it all, depending on the time of day and how I was feeling.

I hear ya, in the end this is very likely what I'll end up doing too. I just have....fantasies of straight bangs, at night anyway!! I have high hopes that if I use enough Elnett I can beat the humidity (a girl can dream, lol!)
I just googled "Bonnaroo fashion 2013" just to see what society thinks people wear to Bonnaroo, and I stumbled upon this thread. As a "closet-fashionista," naturally I joined this site...5 minutes ago... So, I've read this thread and already spent $50 on the bralette and skirts. haha
I'm sorry if my posts make absolutely no sense or if they're not in the right order. I'm a Music Business major and very tech-savvy so this 1990's internet platform is way too hard for me to use! Anyway, this will be my second year at Bonnaroo and this time, I'm going to be a lot more prepared! Has anyone that's ordered the chiffon pleated maxi skirt from eBay gotten theirs in the mail yet? How was it?

Miz, I had pretty short bangs when I went to Sasquatch a couple years ago, and they had a promoter onsite for garnier or some other "hip" hair product, and they were pushing their dry shampoo. I know it's been discussed here before - but generally as a whole head item, not for touch-up use. I would go to the vendor girls who were doing sample runs every morning on my way into the fest, and just have them rub a little into my bangs. BOOM. Looked fresh again. So it was ponytail, bun, pigtails, whatever with my hair - but I just straightened my bangs out before I got there, and dry shampooed them in the morning and they looked pretty good every day. Maybe it was Got2Be... I can't remember. But it wasn't any fancy or high-end brand.

Welcome to the GFT! Stick around, talk clothes, music and Roo with us!
Welcome back Bonz, but I do not find it strange that your presence being requested in the Orgy thread and then you showing up, like it was the quacking Bonzai Bat Signal.
THANK YOU! Someone also suggests a velcro roller in there...that's a great idea too, that might be my fallback.

Oooh I will try this!! Just getting the bangs right makes such a difference... Thanks for the tip!!
^^^Yeah, Im trying to decide if I want to grow my bangs out or not. I got them in '08, and they've been shorter (I mean, even betty page-ish short) and longer (all up in my eyeballs) and now I just can't decide what I want to do for summer. Your avatar pic looks really similar to the shape and length that my bangs are too - straight across the bottom, and no "fade" into the hair; very square. I have a short, straight A-line cut (think bob, but it's not a bob... similar to Sarah of Phantogram) that looks best when it's super straight, super suuuuuuuper straight, and my bangs shorter and straight. Because it's naturally wavy, I can wear it that way when Im feeling lazy, but the bangs look weird stright, so i push them to the side. It's great in winter bc it looks GREAT with hats! But in summer, I feel like I want long flowy wavy hair again. UGH. Hair. decisions decisions.

Old Navy has some cute dresses. I will have to look at them!
Be careful with the zippers on those dresses...I just ordered the strapless green eyelet dress to wear at roo and the zipper was broken when I got it. I've read reviews on their site that says other people had the same issue. I am sad because it's an adorable dress and looked pretty on me, but with a broken zipper....I guess I'll just have to go back to Soul Flower.
If the zipper was un-stitched or ripped out they are easy to re-sew in.
In other news, have y'all seen that shimmer body art junk on TV? I'm oddly tempted to buy it so I can do some Roo body art. Thoughts? I could probably just replicate it with a stencil, some false lash adhesive and the shimmer glitter from Sally's. www.shimmerbodyart.com/?MID=2685378

I love this! The false eyelash adhesive idea is great, unless you can find one of those As Seen On TV stores. What's really needed is glow in the dark glitter. Definitely needed

I totally agree with that! 2 years ago we took glow in the dark body paint. It did glow a little, but we happened to find out it definitely showed under blacklight from the silent disco. Now glitter that glows in the dark, I'm down.
