Whew, I've not posted in like a week! Been crazy here.
Went to torrid the other day. They have some cute high wasted shorts. Would look super cute tucked into a tank with a fedora! Cute for a night show. I feel like I'll be changing like three times a day and showering at least twice. I can't Stand feeling gross.
I *think* Sally's has the glow glitter. As far as the As Seen on TV store...my 5 year old told me we can get the body glitter starter kit at Wal Mart. Obviously she needs less television in her life.
and he's been trolling this thread evidently. I guess just because you're not girly it doesn't mean you can't like wearing girly clothes. Lesson learned!
Sad news. I found the backpack I want on sale on a few websites, and none of them ship to Canada
Ship it to me, I'll ship it to you?
Such a nice offer, thank you so much! After more hunting I found it on eBay Canada, now just keeping an eye on and it and maybe waiting for payday If it doesn't pan out, I'll take you up on that! Thanks!
If the zipper was un-stitched or ripped out they are easy to re-sew in.
In other news, have y'all seen that shimmer body art junk on TV? I'm oddly tempted to buy it so I can do some Roo body art. Thoughts? I could probably just replicate it with a stencil, some false lash adhesive and the shimmer glitter from Sally's. www.shimmerbodyart.com/?MID=2685378
I wish it had been that easy! The zipper pull separated from both sides of the teeth and would NOT go back on. I am still sad about that dress!!!

Just sew in a new zipper or take it to a someone who knows how. It's usually like 5-10 bucks

now that is a good idea, and I never considered it....I REALLY like that dress and it's just waiting for me to return it...I think I like your option better!

Have any of you ladies ever ordered anything from Zulily? I thought it was just kids' stuff, but I joined and they actually have a few 'hippie clothes' sales for women almost every day. And they are CHEAP. Just wondering how bad the quality is....
^Is that your hair, girl? It looks so cute! I love it. You got style. Me, my hair is going gray, and I'm too cheap to dye it. Ha ha, sigh.
Shoes have been something that I'm trying to put some thought into and need to read to find out what are the most practical.
Thank you! It's actually a wig because I wanted to test out the color before I went full blown. Considering my job won't allow me to do what I want with my own hair, wigs are an awesome alternative!

Certain pastel colors like that look great on some women and not so much on others. I tried a pink once, years ago, just in the under layers. I loved it, but jeez the backlash from people was nuts! Some folks don't like unique colors in hair.
I don't spend too much time on my hair anymore. I've been letting it grow for some time now to see if I can donate it to the Locks of Love foundation. I hope to chop it all off before Roo! GI Jane look- here I come!
I'm really into floral for this spring & summer so Rue 21 & Ross had some really good deals!
As far as shoes go, right now I'm bringing my vans for sure but I'm thinking about investing in a pair of sanuks
I don't know about you girls, but I'm in love with F21 summer clothes. They have good picks for floral patterns and designs. I never really liked the store until I found out about their plus size online and was in a F21 that has a plus size section in new york. For really cute clothes that are IMO, cheap. They just came out with a bunch of new summer dresses that I want so badly.

The F21+ line has so many good options. I haven't checked out their Spring/Summer line yet.

I'm totally taking my 32 year old ass to Forever 21 this weekend. It'll feel a little weird, but after looking at their website it appears it will be worth it!

It really is. It can be a hit or miss on the quality of F21 items.. Some items you buy there will just not last long, a lot of jewlery. Which they will let you know once you buy it you cannot return it. haha I've never had a problem with the wannabe chiffon like material, which will be a lot of my wardrobe for Roo because it's so light and comfortable. I just wish ALL stores had the plus size section.
On a sad note, they have the cutest plus size rompers, but they do not look cute on me. boo.

Whoa, no returns at all? Weird. Or just for jewelry?

Just for jewlery! I've returned clothes before with no issues. It kind of makes sense with the jewlery since that is the cheapest section in the store. lol I can't help myself though. I still buy it.

I love forever 21 for clothes that are good for going out in or if you don't care if they get ruined, and they have new things almost every day (I work in a mall so I usually drag my ancient 36 year old ass in there on my break ). However, on the other side of the spectrum, is Athleta. I went in today and tried on a ton of skorts that have really light fabric that can get wet and dry quickly, and some of them are for working out so they are pretty durable. The only problem w/ Athleta is that they can be expensive (my favorite one is the Hit The Trail Skort which is of course $80!). So I'm waiting for a sale
