Hey ladies, if you're a Sanuks fan, you might like these: Sanuk Yoga Sling
The bottoms are made of yoga mat material, and the straps are soft jersey fabric. I've been wearing mine for about a month now, no blisters, no rubbing. I think these are my new favorite sandal. I highly recommend them!
I have these, too, and I love them. The sole isn't quite as thick as the regular yoga mat flip flops, and I don't think they are quite as supportive. Super cute and comfy though.

That's actually what keeps scaring me about the slings. I have a pair of yogamats from 6PM that are thinner bottoms- they are fine for daily wear, but i don't plan to wear them to fests. The thicker are way better. But the sling part tempts me eeeverytime I shop.
I rarely wear my Carpe DMs, but you guys make me want to buy a backup pair while I can... Sigh. During April and May, I spend the most money on clothes, shoes, camping gear... it's never ending. Eeevery Yeaaarrr

The regular yoga mat flip-flops will be my next Sanuk purchase. I can't say how well the yoga slings would work for camping fests, but I wore them all day to a street fair - they held up great, and my feet didn't get tired at all. I'd say risks for wearing these to bonnaroo are the same as any other flip-flops...They are super comfy and airy, but they're not going to protect from that person wearing combat boots in the mosh pit.
It's funny... I never have worn closed toed shoes at a festival besides rain boots (never wore the boots at Roo), and have never had my feet stepped on. At least nothing painful enough to remember. But I also don't get in any mosh pits
Sug, you have a good point about city vs camping fests. I have Boston Calling in a few weeks.. might be a good test for a pair of those as well..

I also should mention that the soles are black, and therefore no ugly foot sweat stains
I ordered these, but I'm pretty pissed off about the whole situation. These are "grape" they sent me the super ugly "black & purple." Now they don't have the original ones I wanted in my size!!!! i do like those yoga slings though. Maybe I'll look into those....
Edit: Oh! I also had a bit of a sizing fiasco with my Toms that I ordered at the same time as these. I got that worked out and now I LOVE them. I've worn my new Toms almost everyday since I got them!
I ordered some sanuks from amazon and I wore them to work where I'll be standing on my feet all day and they were super comfy! May put in a Dr. Scholls for Roo.

Have you guys seen Sanuks in store and if so where? I love the online deals but I have weird feet and always have trouble getting them. For dressy shoes I just go a size up and deal with it if it's slightly too big but that won't fly for Bonnaroo. Haha.
Has anyone here worn the Tevas original sandals to Bonnaroo before? If so, how would you rate them on a comfort level?
there is an entire thread on the best footwear for roo. I've never worn tevas but from what I remember browsing that thread they're pretty good/popular. I'd link the thread but I'm on my phone..

I have seen them at Gander Mtn and a couple other places. The ones I am currently wearing came from Ross ($25! what what?).
Speaking of swimsuits, www.swimsuitsforall.com has 25-50% off sitewide until the 29th. They have really great options in sizes 8 through like, 34. And they're not all granny suits. I just got a new fatkini that I'll be rocking this year

I have gotten mine! I ordered this one and I love it! I really like the coverage in the back, because I'm weirder about my back fat than I am about my belly. It also has underwire, which is great.

I love this style! I'm so scared to order online though rather than trying it on beforehand. I am seriously in love with all the new swim top styles that have underwire and are longer. Need to fine some in a store that I can check out first.

Luckily I'm really impulsive so I just went ahead and ordered, lol. The site runs really true to size, if that's a concern you have.

Should I just use ribbon or a leather cord to attach the flowers to? I've seen them done both ways, but I wondered if anyone has a flower headband or has made one, if there was a preference for comfort?

LOL this cracks me up. Anna and I are going to have a "crafting meeting" this week to figure it out. I already have twine to braid (decided it looked more natural than the other options) and a bunch of flowers. She has hot glue guns and knows how to use them (unlike me). Let me know if you want to be added to our "meeting"
