Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
plus if for some reason you take it off, it'd be easier to find yours, if say, some grey one or other boring color ones are chilling out around it, too...

I don't know if any of you are familiar with E.L.F. makeup (eyes lips face). But they just got bought out by Nordstrom's and so they are having a ridiculous sale on their website. Most of their stuff is only $1....This is really good make-up (obviously if Nordstrom picked them up). I believe the sale is to get rid of all the E.L.F. branded stuff b/f they switch over to the Nordstrom brand.

ok on to serious business and im counting on you guys for a totally straight answer. i wont smite you! im a little older than most of you goddesses. im 40 but i tend to pass as younger than that. i have sort of a katie holmes haircut which is very easy for work, however, its not long enough for a ponytail. at the same time - its not super short either. its a bear when i work out because ic ant keep it up but its a little too long to keep down. at the same time i really enjoy the easy cut.
i have found that i can put my hair in two low ponytails instead of one. this holds very well and it keeps the hair off my neck, however, i wonder if this look is just way too young for public viewing. i realize that this is not a fashion event but i really dont want to look like an old person trying to look young or like a nerd tryijng to look like a hippy. i just want my hair off my neck. do you think it would be ok to wear my hair in two ponytails .....or should i just grow it out now and cut it after roo - dont want to go any shorter.
At Bonnaroo, doesn't matter at all - and two pigtails would be really cute! And no, no one would think you were trying to be young. (and 40 isn't old anyway!)
Also look into bandanas to just completely sweep the hair out of your face.
Or you could just go all out and do 50 different baby ponytails all over your head. It's roo - have fun with your hair!

Do you have a Water Water Everywhere near you? Or other bathing suit-only shop? The suits I wore for years I've found at a similar shop when I was in college.
^^Go for it! It's all about comfort at Roo. It's such an open community. There's no need to feel self-conscious about anything-especially how you do your hair! Just be comfortable and don't worry about being judged, because it's not going to happen. And Karma for being honest about insecurities-that's not easy to do
wow thanks you guys are cool and the multiple ponytail idea is a cool one. i could do several and then pull them all back together. thanks for the karma too!!!!!
ok ladies quick question.. i am having issues with shoes. i have brought just about everything from flip flops to crocs to chacos, to rope shoes. now the issues is my feet get so dirty! my boy friend always wears new balance and his feet stay clean and does't get blisters. but my issue with that is that i get to hot, and who doesn't love putting their feet in the bonnaroo fields. any ideas?
I was 32 years old last year and sported two pigtails almost the entire Roo. I say go for it!
I have bought e.l.f. cosmetics; none has ever been bad - some is equal to maybe Wet & Wild, some just as nice as department store brands. I have never felt ripped off and I have used everythign I have gotten from them!
And for shoes... I just get too hot for sneaks and socks at Bonnaroo. It's true, those who do end up with clean and blister-free tootsies, but I need to let mine breathe. I had darn-filthy feet all weekend, hosed them off and even would prop one up in a trough and wash with a bar of soap, then wash off the Crocs and head back to camp. Baby wipes and other wipes can work to get the nooks and crannies of a foot nice and clean, but by Saturday I just didn't care any more
so i was looking on line and i found these, but it seems like they would just been like crocs or keen. but these are $100. and feet would still get dirty...

I've tried those and I've spoken to a couple of people that have them. They're f*ing comfortable. And the people that own them are completely in love with them. But I'd still probably go with Keens over those.
Oh, I should say for me it would be more about durability. For the price, those just dont seem as durable as a Keen H2

those are so cute! im doing sanuks this year as everyone knows! i got the scribble ones! i dont like to wear sandals because my feet seem whiter than the rest of me so i know what you mean about wanting something that covers your feet a bit.
have you thought about some of those surfer type of shoes that are mesh but look like a sneaker. people wear them in the ocean.....i think they must be cool but they offer a little more coverage and i hear they are sooooooo comfy.

i showed this to my gf, who said 1) WOW then 2) well, how good can it be for a buck...
That was also my initial reaction but I figured no harm in spending $20 and finding out
I own some E.L.F products that I got last Christmas. It's pretty much the same level as covergirl, etc. I never tried their foundations or face makeup but I have the eye shadows and lip glosses. Enjoy your products ladies!

I have to agree with some of those items on the list!
But, some things are worth the splurge to me..like my MAC.
I'm not picky when it comes to makeup or prices, but I love their varities of colors and shades.. and they have some of the best pressed powder, hands down.
But also, L'Oreal has a new(ish) line of makeup, H.I.P. that has some AMAZING colors and are a little cheaper than MAC.. definitely a check out for some of you gals who like to experiment with color every once in a while like I do!

I am also 40 (but look a little younger) and that is exactly how I wore my hair last year. I could also wear a hat when the sun got too much and it looked fine. My hair was just above shoulder length so I really didn't want it down.
Be sure to put sunscreen where you part your hair - the top of my head got a little fried because I forgot

I personally would rather have dirty feet than hot feet, so I am sticking with my orange crocs

thanks trippin!
kristen... that hip line does look a lot like mac products. there is also a drug store line that caters to AA and they have some NICE bold colors. i like their products even though im extremely pale - good for just a tad of accent color!
And back to the Camelbak... last year I got one from Kelty via Campmor's awesome occasional deals (they don't have now but found for $45 elsewhere: tinyurl.com/2kk7vb). I loved it because it was NOT gray (I love yellow) and it was small.
This bag was perfect. not as big of a bladder as the bigger bags, but it didn't seem like too much of an issue. I stuck in with the bladder all my Ziploc baggies of TP, wipes and such, and had the front pockets for things like gum, lipbalm, ID and stuff. The bungee part was awesome to stuff my tapestry in (used as a groundcloth) and the mesh pocket held my booklet.
I am all about getting a color you like if it fits your needs! Who cares if it's for kids?
