1. Radiohead 2. Beck 3. Umphrey's McBiscuits (this will be epic) 4. Death Cab (emo or not, they make gorgeous music) 5. Ben Folds 6. My Morning Jacket 7. Grace Potter and the Nocturnals (damn they RAWK) 8. Oysterhead (last year's weak Trey set has me gun shy) 9. Les Claypool 10. Blues Traveler (I'm surprised at the lack of love being thrown their way around here) 11. The Streets 12. Sasha 13. Bonnie Raitt 14. Bright Eyes
That'll do. Those are the ones I'm actively trying to see. Anyone else I'm happy to see as I wander around exploring and enjoying the random surprises you get from not having too strict of a schedule.
Paranoidbot, don't let Treys set last year keep you from putting them at the top of your got to see list. Eveytime I have seen Trey solo it has not been good. However, Oysterhead and Phish is a completely different story . Oysterhead is going to be a ridiculous show, probably the best show this year besides Radiohead or UM/Biscuits.
for me i'm most excited for: Radiohead Umphrey's/Biscuits Phil Lesh moe. Oysterhead Tom Petty Beck Les Claypool and hopefully Lewis Black if I can get in
I'll also check out Cypress Hill, MMW, The Streets, Buddy Guy, Damian Marley, Bela and a bunch of others in hopes of finding new artists to dig

Its nice to come back to all these fun lists to kill time with, well here goes. 1 - Radiohead 2 - Oysterhead 3 - Les and his FancyBand, can't help it, les is my favorite. 4 - Andrew Bird 5 - Bela Fleck 6 - MMW 7 - Nickel Creek 8 - Umphrey's/Disco show 9 - RRFB 10 - Deadboy 11 - Soulive 12 - Beck 13 - Cypress Hill 14 - Rusted Root 15 - The Streets
Damn Zigggy I got the same top 3 as you 1)Radiohead 2)Oysterhead 3)Les Claypool and his fancy band 4)Tom Petty 5)Ricky Skaggs 6)Beck 7)Blackalicious 8)Balkan Beat Box 9)Phil Lesh and Friends 10)The Dresden Dolls 11)Steel Pulse 12)Steve Earle 13)Cypress Hill 14)Bonnie Raitt 15)Matisyahu
Radiohead Beck Petty Common The Streets Cypress Hill Tortured Soul My Morning Jacket Sonic Youth Soulive Malkmus MMW Oysterhead Clap Your Hands Say Yeah Sasha Cat Power
I think that I got lucky because my top three are two of the three headliners so I was hooked at that point and was ready to buy my ticket, but on top of that my numbers 4, 5, 6, 7, 9, and 12 have all been add ons. With two more additions, I might get another couple potential top ten-ers. I know that alot of you are underwhelmed by the additions, but they have been rocking my socks off, and a couple of them have been from left field which is even better.

1. ramble dove (whos got my heady rocky top) ^^^ How much a$$ would that kick? The description didn't make me think they'd play any bluegrass - figured it would all be honky-tonk & old country. But it's possible, I'm sure.
apparently most of you guys have no idea how ill moe is! wow. thats cool though, more room for me!
i know i will probably get stoned for this but im not a fan of Radiohead at all. im not going to bash them, but i will say that i dotn like a single one of their songs, and i gave myself a whole-hearted attempt at liking them. their music depresses me. oh well. im still going to see their porformance, but im not sure i will like it. im a heady jamband & hiphop fan mostly.
im most excited about seeing moe. phil lesh les claypool and his fancy band rrfb mmw atmosphere blues traveler soulive the motet rebirth brass band Cypress Hill Lyrics Born
im currently psyched for Oysterhead, but i have to tell you that im worried that it will be a disappointment. i think it would be a good set, but im not getting my hopes up.
i also cant wait for moe..... and youll probably get some heat for radiohead i get alot for saying anything about them.......ive gotten every album, and listened to each of them at least twice, and it just dosent do a whole lot for me...seems kinda high pitch whiney and depressing(my opinion based on my tastes)....and how could you dance to it? i think it will be a big group of people standing there....but hey the way i see it is that it might not be something i like but if i was with a group of friends smokin and drinkin and someone put on radiohead it wouldnt kill me... it wouldnt ruin my time... so thats what i will do at roo.... and everyone says they are the greatest live band in the world, whihc i find incredibly hard to believe..live shows involve dancing and what not...but i will be there and im sure that the worst case scenario will be i dont like the show but will have had a good time partying with friends and maybe ill be surprised and have a new respect for radiohead....i have a feeling that if your just really not into radiohead you will not be alone... i predict some bigass campground partys to be raging during their set...but i would atleast give it a try if you havent seen them based on what everyone who has seen them is saying....

Their lights are ridiculous (from what I've seen in pics), and the songs are complex and dynamic. They have some TOTAL face melters, and plenty of danceable songs - paranoid android, they totally bring some heavy horn funk on National Anthem, idioteque, etc.
good call man. whiney and depressing is EXACTLY how i would describe Radiohead. im not saying that thats a bad thing, its just not something i find fun and/or entertaining. im actually glad that some people are getting their wish come true. it will be a notable event nonetheless. but chances are i will use the opportunity to rest up for the late night shows

id atleast give them a chance.... my sister brought a friend last year that wasnt into a single act at roo.. he was an ozzfest type of person and thought dave matthews was the gayest garbage on earth.... we ate a bunch of fungus and he had the time of his life.... loved dave....and he said they couldve been playing britney spears and he wouldnt have cared as long as the lights were going.... adn hey ive slept at shows before at roo... if im not feeling it i will take a nap... if the show gets good enough it will wake me up
hey futurecowboy. those totally sound like some entertaining factors that didnt make themselves evident in the sampling of Radiohead that i did. glad to hear it. im actually gettin a bit excited. bring on the Radiohead horn funk and face-melters! now THATS what im talkin about. and ill lights dont hurt for the visuals, maaaan!

Yea mang -- I can't say that there will be horns w/ them at the roo, but that song has horns on the album (Kid A) and they had a horn section when they played it on SNL.
I'm sure they can find a horn section that will already be at Roo and get them on it (Rebirth Brass Band for one). I certainly hope they do.

You really don't get the sense of it from their albums but the Radiohead live shows are INSANE! The best way to explain it to a roo crowd is that they are the Pink Floyd of current times. Take your goodies and hold on.

Thats exactly what I was thinking to myself when I was watching all the live footage of them i could find on the web! They are a modern day pink floyd.
