- i have never had a year where my list of "want to see" was so long
- i have never had a year where my list of "want to see" was so long
I totally agree. I'm not sure how to fit the headliners into this formula (seeing how as in theory they won't be up against anyone), but here goes:
1. Beck 2. Elvis Costello 3. Phil & Friends 4. RRFB (would probably be 1st or 2nd had I not them him before) 5. Oysterhead 6. Radiohead 7. Common 8. Bela Fleck 9. Petty (again, would be higher, but seen him) 10. Ben Folds 11. Cypress Hill 12. Rusted Root 13. MMW 14. Blues Traveler 15. Damian Marley
Wow, that was hard. I could have made a list twice as long if I wanted to. So many good acts.

Very cool ,hope to see you there booyakasha . I've actually been trying to get my hands on some radiohead cds but like i said I don't really know anybody who listens to them and the one friend I had who was big into them recently moved to the west coast. But if I were to go out and buy just one radiohead cd which one??? any suggestions would be appreciated

A life without hearing Radiohead? I wouldn't hear of it. I'm not even a huge fan, but you have to check-out their stuff because its different and obviously well-done. As previous suggested Kid A and Hail to the Thief are two of their best. I'd also check out OK Computer if I were you; and Pablo Honey was one of their earlier disks, very different and I dunno if they'll play much stuff from it, both worth the listen.

From my understanding, as far as Pablo Honey goes, Radiohead themselves hate that CD. Especially Creep, which was a record execs fault, or so the story goes...

Just check out the live recordings disc, then you'll know exactly what to expect....it is amazing.
Hoodoooperator, I was thinking the same thing. For me right now the Mars Volta would be number one over anybody that that would be at bonnaroo. Superfly needs to give the people what they want...VOLTA!
1) Radiohead 2) Beck 3) The Streets 4) Tom Petty 5) Matisyahu 6) Seu Jorge 7) Elvis Costello 8) Death Cab for Cutie 9) Damian Marley 10) Oysterhead 11) Common 12) Buddy Guy 13) Bela Fleck and the Flecktones 14) Bright Eyes 15) Robert Randolph

thats nonsense..... bands make music, execs only make mainstream pop bands, you would never hear phish widespread or the dead saying such a ridculous thing....and radiohead probably made more money and gained most of thier fame from creep and pablo honey(not trying to start a fight just think its odd to blame someone for what your doing because it helps you fit into a certain class, in this case they are trying to not associate themselves with mainstream pop(creep) that is in large part responsible for thier fame) i dont even know if radiohead has said this but ive heard it brought up by many a radiohead fan and it seems a pretty lame excuse and if the band actually said that i have lost what respect i did have for them as musicians as opposed to bands that do whats popular with the mainstream because execs throw money at them
