Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
I agree, highly unlikely. Thom and Jonny are my two faves from radiohead. Combining with Nigel would be insane too. I brought up Sasha b/c I saw a video on youtube where he's mixing the eraser at a club and it was out of this world. Apparently Thom LOVED playing bonnaroo last year, but then was quoted complaining about the emissions left by the thousands of people parked and waiting for entry. Said he wouldn't return until someone alleviated the problem. Read that on atease.web long time ago. Still fun to speculate.
Thom also said that he'd consider doing away with touring completely, unless a more energy efficient way of touring is introduced. Thom says lots of things while "in the moment". He is known to recant at times. Let's hope he'll do such w/ his statement about playing Bonnaroo again.
Sorry, I forgot electronic acts are supposed to be 2 fat white guys standing behind a keyboard and turntable.
Given your post history of arguing about when Pearl jam stopped being good I'm not particularly offended by your opinion..

That was awful. I would not like to see them live.
Considering I never said that was how electronic music had to be, you just look like an idiot with that comment. And could you please direct me to this post where I talked about Pearl Jam? Cause it never happened.

^^^I think he was posting to the guy who suggested Juno Reactor. But in reply to Taciturn's statement, electronic acts DO stand behind turntables, laptops, and keyboards... with the addition of acts like bisco, sts9 and the like we have a seperate genre, it's called livetronica - kinda separates the two and keeps people from getting their panties in a twist when electronic music is brought up.

i haven't taken the time to go back and read that article, but i dont think eh specifically mentioned not playing bonnaroo again...but more just touring in general. My guess is that he was just on a pissed off rant. fact remains, he loved bonnaroo and said it was one of, if not his favorite shows ever.
this from an article with thom yorke on picthforkmedia.com
TY: When we played Bonnaroo we got such a nice vibe, a genuine good feeling from the first beat. Things like Bonnaroo give you the hope that you can do it the other way. I met Phish-- most of their people are involved in Bonnaroo. And it's great. I dream to take some of that vibe and take it around the country...and then Clear Channel trying to fucking shut the gate down.
Third Eye Foundation's album "little lost soul" is really good, I compare them to Boards of Canada as it sounds similar but maybe with a little amon tobin to jazz it up.

One act I've never seen live but would love is, "Future Sound of London"!!!
I saw FSOL in '95 and it was f*cking awesome! Not only was it musically one of my favorite "electro" shows but, the light show and was incredible! I'd love to do it again!
Yeah, I heard about this movie FSOL made recently called "Adventures in Surround"...they have this huge church in England and each room is filled with every electronic music device ever invented! I think there are clips of it on YouTube
Oh Man...Seriously though if they came to Bonnaroo....I believe the planets would have to be in some extraordinary alignment!!!
Yeah I think it would have to be someone that not only tears the decks up but has that show feel to them....RITM is an awesome suggestion or even Crystal method or if I had to pick one Id go with Scanner. Trippy ass stuff
