I know this probobly got you really excited but there was a thread on the first message board about how bonnaroo could sell out fast and the answer is a phish reunion. If that were announced you better get your tickets fast. This was in response to cochachella possibly selling out with a rage against the machine headliner. Of course if bonnaroo added string cheese incident to the lineup with Phish, HOLY SHHHH

New rule. When putting the words "Phish" and "Bonnaroo" together, you have to put a question mark at the end of the sentence. Anything else, especially "!!!" will lead to smiting for broken hearts.
I have been to Phish festivals and I hope that they never play Bonnaroo and instead do their own thing. I have yet to experience any festival that topped a Phish festival. I have seen more people at a Phish fest there to see one band and one band only then at Bonnaroo with 70+bands.

Yep was thinking the same thing. There were I think 80-100k at Big Cypress and I'm sure the same at Lemonwheel. I think if they play together it won't be at Roo.

A phish reunion at bonnaroo will NEVER happen. I repeat NEVER happen. Maybe you kids should actually read up on phish before you go saying crazy things like "phish reunion at bonnaroo."
Not at all, an unannounced Phish show would be the event of the year for music if it happened. And it would be more specail that way as if it were announced, and we would have people breaking down the walls of bonnaroo to get in to see it.

Also most of the people who run the logistics of Bonnaroo came from the Phish festival staff. So most of the people running stuff behind the scenes are the same guy and gals. They know what to expect and how to deal with it.
Every year there's people saying that Phish will play. I just don't ever see it happening unless it's unannonced. I thought it might happen in 04 cause the only person not there was Mike. But it didn't
As some have said Phish would never play Bonnaroo....because then it would end up not being Bonnaroo it would end up becoming a Phish festival.....and Bonnaroo doesnt want that. Though it would be nice to see them at Roo it just won't happen...but we can all dream!
You know, I think Phish very well could get back together at Bonnaroo, but it wouldn't be a planned thing. 3/4 of Phish play on stage twice now, although I'm not sure exactly what the incarnations were. Bonnaroo won't be able to get them to agree to come together, but I think they'll probably try to book the members individually and hope it happens. There really isn't much better press they could get post-fest than Phish coming back together. 2004 was too soon, but this year or next I think it could happen.

It absolutely could happen. IF they are doing a small tour along with it. A one off reunon would be a mess of a spectacle so I don't see it happening as a one time special event. But Phish playing roo as part of a tour would be not too different from The Dead playing roo.

^i agree, i can see phish gettign back together this eyar or next year or 2 years form now and that year i can see them pulling a WP and headlining two ngihts of roo (that would be amazing)
Never say never, and i wasnt making a claim that it will happen, i am saying that if it were to happen, that would be the only way they could do it at Bonnaroo.

like other people have mentioned, I don't see Phish playing @ bonnaroo, unless they do other festivals/and a large tour. There would be far too many people breaking in and turning the entire place into anarchy.
Once again Phish has their own festivals. And not some small thing like Moe. down huge like Bonnaroo. Why on earth would they play Bonnaroo upon their return? That would be a step backwards.

d'oh! I've got my times all screwed up tonight, for some reason I thought their tour ended right before Roo. My bad. Agreed Trey will need to get sober(ish,) but I've read a lot of really good reports from this tour. Even though Phish won't play, I hope the TAB and Vida Blue are there.
