Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
OK ... as a bit of a 'roo n00b (a total virgin to camping festivals, really), there are a ton of names on the list that I've heard of but have never actually heard. I can't be the only one.
To that end, I propose a community effort: Pick a band off the list ... one that hasn't been covered already in this thread ... and pick four or five songs from that band to introduce someone to them. It's that simple.
Now ... for the anal rules part that will hopefully keep people from ruining this thread: Once a band has been posted, that's it. Don't post something from the same band that someone else posted. Don't reply and say, "I LOVE THIS SONG" or "THAT SONG SUCKS." If someone posted the Widespread Panic list that you hate, that's just tough. You should've posted first.
I'd really love for this to be a chatter-free thread, but that's up to the mods. I'll start.

Hey, Jude, don't be afraid. You were made to go out and get her. The minute you let her under your skin, Then you begin to make it better.
And any time you feel the pain, Hey Jude, refrain. Don't carry the world upon your shoulders. Well don't you know that it's a fool who plays it cool By making his world a little colder.

Cool Some good intros for these bands.
The Roots- Quills Water Thought At Work The Seed 2.0 The Next Movement
The Flaming Lips- Race For The Prize Yoshimi Battles The Pink Robots (Part 1) A Spoonful Weighs A Ton The Gash Do You Realize My Cosmic Autumn Rebellion
T-Bone Burnett- Zombieland Seven Times Hotter Than Hell Hollywood Mecca Of The Movies Driving Wheel Talk Talk Talk Talk Hefner And Disney Pressure
As far as T-Bone goes just download The True False Identity. He released it last year, and his catalogue is fairly hard to find anywhere online. He released alot of Vinyls, and finding somebody who has rips of them can be painfully tiresome. But at least you all know 1 person now . Most of his older stuff ranges from country driven ballads (ala Roy Orbison, good friends) or some things on the odd end of the spectrum (ala Tom Waits, good friend). Definetly an artist alot of folks here should look into.
I was born in the back seat of a Yellow Cab in a hospital loading zone and with the meter still running. I emerged needing a shave and shouted 'Time Square, and step on it!
