Basically, the whole jist of this thread is to find out whose seeing who before they play Bonnaroo. Most of the bands at Bonnaroo are touring extensively, so it's likely that a lot of the bands will be coming through your town or a town near you. So I thought it'd be cool to see who is seeing who and where, and then when the time comes, you can even post about your concert experience, what the band played, how they sounded and whatnot. Could be fun.
For me, I'm seeing Damien Rice at the Uptown Theater in Kansas City, Missouri on May 13 Tool at the Mid American Center in Council Bluffs, Iowa on May 12 Keller Williams at the Sokol Auditorium in Omaha, Ne on April 27th ( I believe) Ben Harper at the Stir Cove at Harrah's casino in Council Bluffs Iowa on June 9th! Mute Math is coming to the Sokol Underground in Omaha too so I'll probably check them out as well.
That's it as of right now, I'll post more if more come through my area as time progresses, and once I get my face melted off by all these artists, I'll let ya know how it was. So have at it!
Not really doing any concert going between now and Roo. Saving up my $$. But I am going to see Hot Chip later this month at Antone's in Austin (25th of April I think).

other then that, i too am not seeing anyone else from 'roo before june for stamina purposes
Maybe I'll throw myself to the dogs, but my back's not to the wall Maybe I'll lay some bricks for the man, but the days just aren't that long So if I settle back and chill will I see far enough to feel the angel's dream? I thought it was the Story of the World!
"White collar conservative flashin down the street, pointing that plastic finger at me, they all assume my kind will drop and die, but I'm gonna wave my freak flag high." Jimi Hendrix
ill probably go see KOL here in houston, seen them once before and they were pretty good

Funny... I was just trying to schedule out that weekend myself. It's a toss up between STS9 (although I've only heard 1 dance track of theirs) in NYC or Dark Star Orchestra at Starland Ballroom in NJ. could hit both, but I don't want to hurt anythin'...

The singer for The Cranberries? She have some solo material? A Few nights ago i found No Need to Argue, blew the dust off of it, and gave it a spin while going to sleep, and i've thrown it in the past few nights. Strange lull i'm in, but it's a great album!
I'd love to catch Tool before roo, but like most, i gotsta save up dat bread, cheese, and dough. A lot of you all are catching some great acts before the fest. Enjoy!
The Hold Steady when they come to Madison. I'm skipping the Decemberists for Brother Ali, if that counts, but that's probably it. For being a college town Madison doesn't get many good shows.

Black Rebel Motorcycle Club is playing in New Orleans on the June 13th. Which is perfect, cause we go right through New Orleans on the way to Bonnaroo, so we'll probably make a stop.

yep that is correct. her new solo album comes out may 15th. i preordered it with a t-shirt and can't wait to see her live for once. i never got to see the cranberries, but they were my favorite band during the 90's.
