dude if you enjoy that set, definitely get their Revolution set too...its the same price as the other set and you get more mp3s. you definitely want to listen to "Peoples" and "Instantly" at least, and you will be S-O-L-D

I'm trying to take it easy on the funds before B-Roo so I'll prolly only end up seeing Claypool here on May 25th unless I come up with cash to get to Summercamp. Also I'll probably check out the free show at Lincoln Park by Umphrey's and the Biscuits for the Green Apple Music Fest thing.

I'm going to see Neko Case this Friday, and then Soul Asylum 2 Saturdays after that, then Buddy Guy & Lucero at the Double Decker Fest, and then Memphis in May Beale Street Music Fest, and then probably Clutch the Wednesday before Bonnaroo. Oh, and I will probably check out the Little River Band at the Italian Fest. Should be a hoot. Oh yeah, and Big Jack Johnson (the awesome blues guy, not the surfer guy) at the Crawfish Fest this weekend.
This will be our first Roo. We are really excited. Here is our list of shows planned so far:

I want to see Les Claypool...saw him last year in Orlando. He is playing there again, but it's during Roo, on 6/16. I was hoping he wouldn't miss this year @ Roo.

My Bonnaroo starts on the 13th. I'm seeing Les Claypool that night!!! Since he's being a bastard and won't be at 'Roo. Luckily it really worked out for me and anyone else in the Atlanta area.
If I see any concerts before Bonnaroo, it'll be Modest Mouse in Atlanta, TV On The Radio in Athens, or Tool in Greeneville. If I'm goin to roo, I'd rather see Modest Mouse. I can catch TV On The Radio someother time, seems like they like to tour a bit.

Let me know if you go to TV on the Radio in Athens. I'm going to school up there starting in the fall, so I'll have an apartment up there. I haven't heard much of their stuff, but I'm an open-minded kinda guy. I'm sure I'll like more than just what I've heard.....

TV on the Radio live=amazing. I was only halfway familiar with them and their show blew me away. They have amazing energy and sound really great for the type of music they are.
I will also be at Widespread Panic on 4/20 and 4/21 Page in Asheville on June 8th.
That's all i've got concert wise in between now and then, however, I will also be graduating, going to Vegas, and then Korea in the next month and a half. Anything that makes the wait for roo go faster is welcome, and all this will definitely help. Sitting on here and looking at the countdown slowly ticking away can get depressing after a while. I remember starting to get really excited when it was like 130 days or so, it'll just make it that much sweeter when it gets here.

I am going to all 3 days of the Coachella Music Festival in less then 3 weeks. ;D
As far as Roo bands go, I will definantly be seeing the Kings of Leon play at Coachella, so I will report on here about how their set goes. I hope to also see the Black Keys, The Nightwatchman, and Gillian Welch play as well.

I'll definatly be catching Robin Hitchcock & the Venus 3 (aka the Minus 5) at Club Congress on April 14. There's some other shows I'd like to go to, but I need to save $$$$ for Roo.

He's not playing at Roo this year, but he did play last year and I missed him. I just got word about this and I'm super excited!! G. Love and Special Sauce are playing at the student center of my college for UNO students for free next monday! That's so awesome, he's playing in the Nebraska room, which can't hold more than 500 people, so it's gonna be a kick ass, intimate concert. This made my week!!
