I was a HUGE Kanye fan when he came onto the scene with College Dropout. He was cocky then but not to this extent. Anyway.....He kinda lost respect from me for continually (multiple times) storming award shows and stages to complain about not winning. It was just immature. That being said.....I need to listen to more of his newest CD but I'm really looking forward to his show at Bonnaroo.
He writes good lyrics and has a feel for great music. Almost all of the songs he samples are amazing and I really can't wait to see what he brings to Bonnaroo. He's going to do what most of the great artists do....and that's try to be the most talked about set at the festival.

"Flashing Lights" meet big cities (and smaller ones) as Kanye West's "Glow in the Dark" tour commences tonight in Seattle.
As we have frequently reported, Kanye's "Glow in the Dark" tourmates include Rihanna, N.E.R.D., Lupe Fiasco, Jim Henson creatures, Daft Punk lights, hologram girls, and of course, his own ego.
I don't think we are getting the glow in the dark tour. With Lollapalooza having Kanye in their lineup, and Lolla also having no dedicated late-night scene, do you think Lollapalooza is going to be graced with the glow in the dark tour? I don't. It sounds like it would take forever to set up, it would need to be extra dark, like a Roo late-night, etc.
Maybe we'll be getting glow in the dark lite, or glow in the dark diet. Maybe Kanye will bring some lights and such, but probably not the Jim Henson creatures and stuff. Or Kanye will blow us out of the water. Who knows?
a.) He's a headliner at Lollapalooza. He's going to be at night and they'll have plenty of time to set up. They had Daft Punk's pyramid show last year.
b.) I think what Bonnaroo seems to be doing this year is cutting the headliner length and pushing them later. That way, they can fit in sub-headliners later. They said Jack Johnson was going to start at sunset, meaning when his show's done, it will be night time. I don't remember any other bands, aside from the headliner, ever ending at night. I'm guessing this is where they'll put Kanye, probably on Friday.
Edit: Kanye's in Ohio on Friday. I have no idea where they're going to put him now

Well the pitchfork has an asterisk that says with Lupe Fiasco. I guess by the two days they could either mean both Kanye and Lupe are at Bonnaroo, or they mean he is guest starring with Lupe Fiasco.
