Was that squarepusher show for the Ultravisitor tour, Mexi? Saw him at The Echo Lounge in ATL. Opened with a KILLER Venus No. 17, totally blew me away from at least 90 minutes. Got a "Come on My Selector" encore, and then we yelled long enough for him to come out and do "(Massif) Stay Strong." Then he said "OK, that's definitely enough."

i have seen many gret shows. but john butler this past weekend put on the best show i have ever seen. it was ridiculous. maybe it elped that it was 80 degrees in michigan and i am so sick of winter but it was a killer show in a small bar (the blind pig) and it was one hell of a show. if hes coming to your area try to check him put. i doubt you will ever see a better 20 dollar show. by the way dont try to get tix at the show, they are selling out nearly every stop well in advance.
also not all of his shows are being sold through ticketmaster. so check his website to get all of the shows that he is doing
I saw Radiohead in 03 in West Palm Beach... Coral Sky Amphitheater maybe?
Had lawn tickets, went in the place, got settled in. Still early though, so went for a walk around. Local radio station (dont remember their call letters exactly) was doing this promo for whomever could come in dressed in the craziest way showing their station got 2nd row tickets. Im with a group of friends and need to pee, so we head to the restroom. In the urinal, there are those little plastic stoppers to keep cig buts from being flushed down and what not. Well, it happened to say "99.9FM, another Peon Radio Station" or something to that extent. Equipped with those little urinal things on me, I went up to the booth and proceeded to win those tickets. What a mindblower show. Took a good friend 2nd row with me and just got lost in it. Definitely a memory though, and a great show.
Others:
Saw Hot Tuna at Skippers Smokehouse less than 10 ft from Jorma and Jack. Acoustic and electric set... such a tight group with more than enough energy and just killed the place for 3 or so hours.
The Dead at the St Pete Times Forum in 03 as well I believe. GF at the time took me for some reason... got us floor tickets and all. Then she wanted to leave at set break. Good show, but incomplete... no longer the GF for other reasons, but that should have been enough right there!
Just saw Springsteen there on his Devils and Dust solo tour. Not really a big fan, but the pops is. Ended up being another unreal show full of charisma and energy and just fun. Not a fan of his electric E Street Band stuff, but Id check him out solo again.
A lot of real good others, but those really stand out for me

Radiohead - Cuyahoga Falls, OH - 8/03
First time seeing Radiohead, and it was everything I had hoped for. Saw them again in Toronto at their last show of the tour....it was great, but I don't think anything will be able to top the first one.
Roger Waters - Phoenix, AZ - 2001?
I wasn't exactly sure what to expect, but he filled about 3/4 of his 2 1/2 hour set with Pink Floyd songs. The fill-in musicians were very good, and the light show was spectacular.
Tool - Toledo, OH - 10/02
First time seeing Tool and it happened to be a couple miles away from my house at the Toledo Sports Arena. The place is a dump, and horrible for acoustics, but to see them in such a small (suffocating) venue was amazing. THINK FOR YOURSELF! QUESTION AUTHORITY!!
Jerry Cantrell - Toledo, OH - 2002?
Another local venue, this time even smaller, and I was bout 10 feet from the stage. I really like Cantrell's second solo disc and those songs sounded great live, but the real treat was about 60% of his set that was pulled from various AIC discs. The guy who sang for Layne is the same one filling in for this Summer's tour. He did surprisingly well.

my first concert ever....KISS
I think they were my first ever, also. Old Chicago Stadium, c. 1976 or '77, nosebleed seats, but really cool to a 13-year-old. Same time frame: Eagles (and Pablo Cruise, and I don't remember who else) at Comiskey Park; Bob Seger, Peter Frampton (ewwww), UFO, & Rick Derringer at Soldier Field. All fun and memorable, but none close to RH.

1. Radiohead- Alpine '03-first and only radiohead show...5th row center pavilion...the music swallowed me up and ive had a new appreciation for music ever since and cant wait for roo
2. Outkast/the roots/J5 - minneapolis '02? (not lauryn hill though) Outkast was by far the best hip-hop performance ive have a ever seen and ive been to quite a few, but then throw in jurassic 5 and the roots made for a memorable evening
3. Mars Volta/Queens of the Stone Age/ RHCP Minneapolis ~01 or 02- This was another sick lineup and each band pulled their respective weight to make it incredible. Front row for the chili peppers was pretty cool.
