haha, for sure ^^^^. I swear I had never even SEEN a myspace page six months ago, that's how anti-myspace I was. Now i'm on the verge of getting one! It would be much better if my work server didn't block myspace any day now though, i think i shall have one. I'm a really goood procrastinator though, so it could take a minute.
Yeah i said i got an account yesterday and i already have about 90 people to add me as friends...that was odd. Some guys i haven't talked to in years. I better not get addicted to facebook now
I vowed to never get a myspace account too after the debacle I had with facebook, but the music got me on myspace. It is so easy to check out music on myspace and keep up with some of my friends bands to see when they are playing near me and stuff like that...I got addicted...I have a problem...
I really just use it to consolidate peeps I've met elsewhere on the net, keep up with old friends and have actually made some new ones in the Groups... I'll actually be meeting 2 different people at Roo that I've met on myspace.
"White collar conservative flashin down the street, pointing that plastic finger at me, they all assume my kind will drop and die, but I'm gonna wave my freak flag high." Jimi Hendrix
best thing about myspace: all the people you haven't heard from in a really long time that you missed and wondered how they're doing can find you and you can re-establish contact.
worst thing about myspace: all the people you haven't heard from in a really long time who found you and want to re-establish contact and you don't really want to talk to them, but you also don't want to be a d-ck and blow them off.
it's a double edged sword, so i give mine mainly to acquaintances...people i want to have some level of contact with but on a limited basis. my close friends i swap cell #'s or emails addresses with.
Maybe I'll throw myself to the dogs, but my back's not to the wall Maybe I'll lay some bricks for the man, but the days just aren't that long So if I settle back and chill will I see far enough to feel the angel's dream? I thought it was the Story of the World!

I've had facebook way before I even discovered what myspace was. I'm too comfortable with facebook to switch to anything else, and I find it pointless to have a myspace and facebook account.

Ha, I got sucked in by Superfly.. They had a contest for Vegoose Tix where if you added them as a friend you were entered. I didn't win the tickets, but I have since moved cross country and keep track of a few friends through it.
I used to get real annoyed by all the hot slutty chicks who wanted to be my friend. But I think ol' Tom put the clamp down on all that.
I was told over and over again that adding music to Myspace is a pretty good idea. I did, and it indeed turned out to be, so i got an account.
I like it because if i see a video that makes me think of someone, i post it on their page allready uploaded, so that all they have to do is hit play. It's also a great way to keep up on concerts, cd releases, pre-sale tix, and other helpful info. I've already caught a couple of killer shows that i would have otherwised missed!
i don't have a myspace but i've seen some. looks to me if your over 30 and have one, your trying to hang on to something. do they have something for someone who doesn't do what mtv tells them to do? i don't care about spring break, orange county, and 19 year old boobies but the idea of old friends and music sounds good. is there an "adult myspace"??
