Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
I have one. It's ..../sascwatch haha. It's still all Bob Marley'd out since his birthday. I don't use my page as a personal self-absorbed advertisement or anything so you won't find any pics of me or very many at least. I don't check it too often and use it mostly as a music page and it's very convenient for that. That and my friends from out of town. I have tons of artists and some music videos and concert videos on there....even from bonnaroo... so check it out if you want and send me and invite.
i don't have a myspace but i've seen some. looks to me if your over 30 and have one, your trying to hang on to something. do they have something for someone who doesn't do what mtv tells them to do? i don't care about spring break, orange county, and 19 year old boobies but the idea of old friends and music sounds good. is there an "adult myspace"??
Myspace is what YOU make of it. You can put your profile on private so nobody but your friends can see and you can even make it so people can't even add you unless they know your email or last name. I'm 21 and my boyfriend is 28...we both just use it for old friends and music.
I am relatively new to myspace, and must admit, was a skeptic at first. Now I am hooked. It enables me to be connected to my family and friends. I can see their pics, hear the music they like, and watch videos that they find amusing. As far as having it in my signature, my husband (popup) and I have met two really cool people that live only 30 min from us. We are already chatting about this that and the other. Plus, you can further relationships with other people on the boards without clogging the boards. Make sense?

I agree! Mine is set to private as well. I do have it listed on Inforoo because if someone is really interested in being my friend, they'll send a request. It's just cool....I have my own design....own pics....own music playing in the back...own blog... and just everything else. I lifted some html off the net but I don't believe I'm going to the big house. If I do, someone bail me out please
I love it. I use it for music, keeping in touch with friends and finding people that I haven't seen in a while. It's really great for those things. The music is what drew me in, and the friends is an added benefit. I don't have a million friends all over the place, mostly people I talk to. I've been lucky in that I haven't had too much spam, but my bf gets it all the time. They seem to be pretty on top of it though, the spammer's profiles get deleted pretty quick. I also delete the people that constantly post stupid bulletins. I indulge in a survey once in a while, but I post most of them in my blog.
I secretly hope that my ex boyfriend looks at it periodically and sees that I am making something of my life while he's still living in his mother's basement being a slacker. But that's my guilty little secret. Sometimes, I enjoy being a myspace voyeur and I haunt other people's profiles, but hey, that's what the internet is for.

It took me a while to get on board, but I actually like it more than I do facebook. I've been able to catch up with people from different points in my life that I wouldn't have been able to find otherwise, and you can limit the people who you don't want to bother you if you do it right. All of my friends there are actual friends and a couple of musicians such as Mr. Andre Williams. I don't get the point of having 14,000 friends but if that's your thing or if you actually have 14,000 friends more power to you. The only decorations I have are a few clips such as the Little Richard GEICO commercial (I'll never tire of that one) and Homer Simpson meeting the late, great President Gerald Ford - how could you turn down a chance to watch the football game, eat nachos and drink some beer with those two ?
I started a thread on a different board here inquiring about starting a Myspace page for Inforoosters. Bonnaroo has a page, and it seems that there a quite a few people on here that are on Myspace as well. It could be a cool supplement to go along with this website. Not to take away from here (I've really enjoyed learning all about the Roo and picking up on the positive vibe that the posters here emit), just another way for people to get together since there are a few already over there.
I'd do it, but as someone who is fairly new to this site I don't know if it'd be appropriate for me to start one as opposed to one of you guys or girls who have been here a while. Just a thought.
"Stealing? How could you?! Haven’t you learned anything from that guy who gives those sermons at church? Captain What’s-his-name? We live in a society of laws. Why do you think I took you to all those Police Academy movies? For fun? Well, I didn’t hear anybody laughin’, did you? Except at that guy who made sound effects. Where was I? Oh yeah -- stay out of my booze."
I was born in the back seat of a Yellow Cab in a hospital loading zone and with the meter still running. I emerged needing a shave and shouted 'Time Square, and step on it!

I check it every week. Send me a message cause I hate it when random people send a friend invite and I don't know who they are and what we have in common. www.myspace.com/viciousfeline
i'm going where the sun keeps shining, thru' the pouring rain, going where the weather suits my clothes. backing off of the north east wind, sailing on summer breeze, and skipping over the ocean like a stone.
I was one of anti-myspace people too, until one day I just checked to see if an old friend I lost touch with was on there and sure enough... However, she hasn't logged in since I messaged her. Figures. So feel free to add me. I need friends! ;D
Yeah, I have one just for music and band info....I keep it locked down and my profile private to all except friends too...haven't done a darn thing to the page....just subscribe to alerts. That's why I don't really give it out to anyone, I use my other web pages or emails usually......
i have a myspace but have been ignoring it for a while... too many random people have access through the network
i much prefer facebook. and it just recently caught on in Puerto Rico so now I can keep track of all my college friends AND my home friends in one network! plus strangers I haven't allowed on my friends list can't read my profile. myspace is just too public for my taste, plus its full of people looking to get space ass!

LMAO! Space Ass is the perfect description for what myspace trollers are looking for! Thus why I don't use it for anything more than band bulletins.....karma for the giggle moonchild!

I have a myspace and I've gone through phases of highly addicted and not even checking it for weeks/months at a time. I often get fed up by all the spam that is common on there, but as many have said it is a good way to keep in touch with friends from all over the world. I just try to keep it to where I'm only in contact with actual friends that I know and have met in person, not just "myspace friends"
