Alright, so my friends have all gotten into the myspace thing, and call me a myspaceophobe. I know a few people have their myspace pages in their sigs, but i wanted to know to what extent myspace and inforoo overlap. I've tried to explain to this friend of mine that inforoo is my myspace, but she still keeps pitchin a fit for me to get a myspace page. So much so in fact, that i'm considering giving in and doing it. But i figured my fellow inforooers could give me some guidance. Do you myspace? How do you feeeeeel about myspace? If you do, what is your myspace page?

I dont have one, and maybe i dont really understand it, but it seems pretty pointless to me. Its just basically an online elaborate personals ad. Just my take on it. ;D

my page is in my signature, i think it's a pretty neat way to keep all the cool people you know in one little compact spot
got a message from a person i knew from second grade through HS today that i hadn't talked to in almost 9 years, for things like that it's pretty darn awesome!
ya i made one a while ago at the urging of friends and never logged back in. i just dont get it. my friends are all about it. they call me up all excited and tell to look because they changed it. the whole 9 yards. i just dont get it. but more power to those who enjoy it. im not one of those myspace haters. i use it to check out music. its great for that.
I signed up for one to look at a friend's pictures she wanted me to check out last year, but I have never once updated it. I have logged in a couple times since to check out other friend's pics, but I don't have a page or anything. I guess I kinda just don't get it that much...Maybe one day I'll make one though.
For me it's just a much better way to email your friends. Plus you can add bands that you like as your friends and they send you bullitens on tour dates and whatnot, which I find invaluable. Now you can add a full playlist on there, with all the music your listening to, at the moment, so anyone can see how amazingly cool you are.

i enjoy it. i have a last.fm blog on there and i love picture comments.
i don't really change it that much, but i check it every now and then. pretty much its like a simpler email program, that, until recently, didn't have SPAM
*i like coconuts, you can break them open they smell like ladies lyin in the sun** *Hell I don't even know where I am** *for now I must sit here and ponder the yonder: The herbivores did well cause their food didn't never run** *We listen, if it feels good We shake** *You made a big impression for a girl of your size, Now I can't get by without you and your big brown eyes.**

Hey just wanted to say thanks to everyone for the feedback, everyone's myspace that i checked out seems pretty cool, so maybe i'll try it out. I <3 inforoo and i've gotten addicted to last.fm, so it seems like the next logical step.
Im currently someone who has vowed not to get one just because I know I'll get addicted and i can just log onto my sisters to see friends pics & stuff. My g/f and some of my best friends are on it almost 24 hours a day and it can get annoying.
