When I was 17 (1975) I saw Uriah Heep and T Rex in concert in Lexington KY. The concert was horrible. I know I was drunk but it was a bad concert. Then a couple of months later, Marc Bolan of T Rex died and I wished that it had been a better show.
That is too bad cuz I really dig T Rex and like Marc Bolan alot, always wondered what his shows were like...too bad

i know this will probably hurt my karma but here goes: honestly the worst concert i've ever been to was dmb in like 02 or 03 i think, at nissan pavillion, traffic was horrible getting into the place, a lot of people were late and he started just the same, lot of people were showing up like 6 7 songs into his set. he just stood there and played guitar.

Here's another vote for Journey. It was a rainy Sunday in 1978 or '79 and the radio announced they were playing a free concert that afternoon at Zellerbach Hall in Berkeley, about 3 blocks from where I lived. A group of us decided to check it out. But it wasn't really a concert. They were trying to shoot concert footage for Midnight Special or In Concert or one of those other shows that preceded music videos. While the band pretended to sing and play over a pre-recorded track, we in the audience were supposed to wave our arms in unison from side to side and sing along to the chorus (which went, "Naaa naaa naaaa naaaa naaaa, naaaa naaaa naaaa naaaa naaaaa"). They were also trying to be very vigilant to make sure that no one engaged in any unwholesome activity. It was all hilariously awful.

Hear, hear... I propose a toast to Mr. Bolan at the Inforoo Brunch...
