I will definitely be rewatching this series this year. It's been a while and I still haven't seen the prequel movie but want to go through this series again.

Started Season 6 last night after taking a break to watch Reacher and Peacemaker. I have a couple thoughts right now.
1) I have felt a couple times that some character's actions are forced around whatever arc they need for the season rather than really feeling like it is something the character would do. Tony B is a good example. He's quiet and hardworking then he's a rage monster who hates Tony then he's remorseful and just wants to make things up with Tony. 2) I don't know that I currently really like any character on the show. Like I get that Tony is an anti-hero, but I am kind of cheering for Johnny Sack and Phil Leotardo. 3) On The Leftovers, I always got a laugh out of people saying Justin Theroux was a tremendous eyebrow actor. James Gandolfini was apparently the king of nasal breathing acting. It's so loud and so frequent.
I just finished this series. We never had HBO, so my only experience with the show was from when my hotel had HBO ... and I had no idea who the characters were. I had actually seen the last episode, but had no idea who Phil Leotardo was ... or really anyone else, for that matter.
Generally, this show captures what has really made our best shows in recent years great: characters who straddle the line between Good and Evil and really try your allegiances. Even the FBI are susceptible. Two thumbs up.

I had never gotten around to watching The Sopranos, so it’s been my treadmill viewing for the last year or so. I just finished last week, and I loved it - even the finale. I’m on Beef now, which I’ll obviously get through pretty quickly. What should be my next treadmill show?
Upcoming Shows: 5/15 - They Might Be Giants @ Madison Theater 6/2 - Pigeons PPP/Andy Frasco/Dogs in a Pile @ MEGACORP Pavilion 6/5 - Pixies/Modest Mouse/Cat Power @ Andrew J. Are you walking or running?
Both. I just use the C25K app and repeat the first two weeks over and over. I have no intentions of working up to a 5K or even running outside. I’m just getting some exercise while catching up on my shows.
Between doing this three times a week and just being more thoughtful about my eating and drinking, I’ve lost about 20 pounds in the past year or so.

I assume you've seen "Breaking Bad" and "Better Call Saul" (if you haven't those are great ones). "Oz" is great for the sheer "look who it is" factor. "Friday Night Lights" is great even though the 2nd season is a mess (blame the writer's strike).

I loved BB, BCS, and FNL (even with the steaming turd that was season 2). I watched the first season of Oz years ago, and while it was certainly well done and it was cool to see all the future stars who showed up, every episode made me feel worse than the one before. It is such a joyless show, so I didn’t continue. I’m leaning toward picking up Fargo next, per my brother-in-law’s recommendation. I’m loving Beef, and I’m sad it will be over soon.

Have you seen Deadwood? A little more fun than Oz. Also don’t shut out Big Little Lies (great first season). First 4 seasons of West Wing. Gravity Falls. Pose. Any of the Mike Flanagan series.

I watched the first season of Deadwood years ago and liked it. It's definitely one I need to rewatch/finish. I loved Big Little Lies. I've never watched West Wing, but I thought The Newsroom was good (if inconsistent). I'm not at all familiar with the others; I'll look into those.
I decided to go with The Americans, which I also started years ago and was too busy to get into at the time.
