That sucks man hang in there, I would be careful with mediators though they are almost always biased in favor of the mom. Also a quick westlaw perusal tells me you are at the minimum for Indiana anyway so they cannot take anything further away. Also in TN anyway, you can call a hearing to amend the parenting plan where while lawyers are present he mainly just questions the parents. Like I said best of luck man, trust me when I say I know how hard that crap is.

It seems like mediators are always just looking for the quick buck to avoid doing any real work. I mediated with one lawyer and then got a second opinion and this guy was pretty agressive but honest. He agreed with the mediator.

A rather somber note for the grrr thread, but I'm grrr...ing over death. Last week, my grandma had a massive stroke. Although the doctors said there was no hope of recovery, the POA, my aunt, kept her on a ventilator for nearly a week before finally deciding to take her off and let her die. She died on Saturday.
Tonight, I notice that my four year old rabbit looks quite ill. A dose of pain medicine does nothing to make her feel better. Instead of waiting until the morning, I decided to take her to the emergency clinic where they tell me that she's in heart failure and is only able to use 1/3 of one lung currently. I elected euthanasia.
RIP Grandma Rose and Luna.
In addition, one of my favorite residents at the long term care facility I work at, died this week too.
What a crummy week. I just hope the Grimm Reaper steers clear of me, my family and my pets for a while.
I had to attend a funeral last week too for my aunt's ex husband (father of my cousins but I wouldn't call him an uncle). I'm sorry for everyone's losses.
And GRRR to this sore throat and fever when I've got an nine hour drive to North Carolina on Friday
This isn't a GRRRRR as much as it is a FML... but I have a 10 page final paper due at 10:30 AM for my economics class tomorrow, in lieu of a final exam - I chose to focus on Starbucks' decline in business as a result of the current recession. This accounts for 10% of my final grade. My computer conveniently decided to nuts the bed about an hour ago, and the only thing on my computer that's missing is that paper. There's no auto-recovery in Word, no previously saved versions... nothing. I searched my hard drive and couldn't find any trace that it ever existed. Right now I'm running some lost file recovery program, and it says it's found two missing items so far, so I'm really keeping my fingers crossed that one of those is my paper. If not... I'm royally quacked.

GRRRR because I am still sick. Went to a walk-in clinic on Thursday afternoon and they promptly sent me to the ER. I have these small abcesses in my throat that are causing the pain and swelling. They were too small for the docs to stick a needle in my throat to drain so they just sent me home with antibiotics and pain meds. Three full days later and I am no better, I may be even worse. So I'm heading back to the ER. I'm already out of my pain meds so even if they can't drain these suckers, I hope they can at least give me something to help with the pain

Ever had some random person stick their nose in your business and give you totally unwanted, unwarranted and even hypocritical advice about something that doesn't even remotely concern them?

Ugggh..... today was just one of those days where shit just has not gone my way at all. After a very long day, I finally get back to my room and sit down to relax with a little corn - and I find someone has gone into my room and taken my corn holder without my permission. Then I have to listen to the guy in the next room and his girlfriend going at it very, VERY loudly for 15 minutes. And when all I want to do is lie down and take a nap (only managed to get about three and a half hours sleep last night), I suddenly remember that I have to go sit through a two and a half hour play tonight and write a paper on it, even though it's explicitly stated in the student handbook that professors are not allowed give out any assignments in the week leading up to finals. I don't even have the time to travel home and see my brother, who just arrived home from Korea last night (where he lives now) because of the sheer amount of work I have to do.

We are moving out of our rental house, and we have agreed to show it to prospective tenants. I scheduled three people to come look at it today. They were scheduled for 1:30, 2:00, and 2:30. Because we have two dogs, who are basically friendly but terribly excitable around people, we try to make sure and get them out of the house when we show it. It's rainy today, so Josh couldn't take them out for a walk. Instead, he had to put them in the car and drive them around. We weren't sure if the 1:30 person was supposed to come at 1:00 or 1:30, so he left at 12:50. The 1:30 person didn't show up, and I don't have her contact information to get in touch with her (well, I do, but it's at work, and she definitely has mine). The 2:00 person sent me an e-mail at 2:15 saying he's running late, can he come see it at 4:00. The 2:30 person (who texted me at 2:30 this morning to say that she'd be here) is now 25 minutes late. I tried to call her, but she apparently has a prepaid phone that is out of minutes, so I've texted her, but haven't heard anything back. So, basically, Josh has just driven the dogs around for 2+ hours, and I've sat around here waiting on people, for no reason at all. What a great way to spend a Sunday.

^^I rent a room out of my house and I've been through the same thing. It seems that since the invention of email and texting that people are much less responsible. If you have my number, why not just call and actually speak to me instead of sending emails or texts?
