we just got back from tha vet...again! theyre keeping kevin overnight to obsrve him...again! hes almost 14 and has been in pretty bad shaep for a while now! he has'nt been able too poop in 4 or 5 days and theres been blood in his pee last night...again! this is his 5th time staying at tha vets since we got back from roo...and nothing they do seems to be helping at all!

My 10KLF is gone and I can't begin to express how totally bummed out I am. When I couldn't make one of the big festivals, I always had that one to fall back on. God damn economy and F you to all the rich bastards that caused it to meltdown. I hope the fest will return, but I'm not holding my breath.

My old lady is forcing me to the mall with her and her mother on the last non-family day before the holidays. I HATE the g*ddamn mall!, and this is my last day of peace for a week...
Grrr.... I hate my job. I'm so sick and freakin' tired of catching people's mistakes. 1) It creates more work for me. 2) There's always potential for harm (I'm a nurse) and 3) I always get chewed out by the person who made the mistake for catching the mistake. For the love of God why don't people take responsibility for themselves!!!! When I screw up, I take responsibility. I made a big mistake a few months ago and I could have easily tried to blame it on someone else but I didn't. I'm the one that did it, even though I was told to by someone else, I am responsible. I can accept that. I think the way my boss handles things makes it worse.
What I got chewed out for this morning wasn't even my fault and the woman resorted to name calling. Saying in an indirect, but very clear way that I am a dumb nurse. F this job. I worked too damn hard to get this license to be treated like dirt. People think I'm a tattle tale, well I think I'm gonna tattle this time.

Holy shit my mom is crazy and lies to get her way. Dad's bipolar, mom is on a huge pity party and they don't understand why the husband and I want to move AWAY!!!
Just watched my neighbor pack up his belongings and move out today. He was the victim of a Ponzi scheme and it cost him everything. Some total piece of crap took advantage of friends and family for his own selfish needs. The bank won't help and now this beautiful home will sit empty for at least six to eight months before the bank can even take it over. I don't understand this. I can't believe the level of corruption that is taking place in this country. This mindset that its all about me, has to stop! We are a collective and what affects one will affect us all down the road. I realize this world is a beautiful place with many wonderful people. It's just that the ugliness of the world seems to be getting larger and more evil than before. I think I need to stop watching the news for awhile. They never say anything positive and it's shaping my views in a bad way. Thanks for listening to me vent.
GRRRRR Big snowstorm is underway here in Wisconsin. I worked the night of the last blizzard a few weeks ago, wasn't even able to get my car out of the parking lot, and had to walk to a friend's to crash for the night. My coworker Bill said to let him know next time, and he'd probably take my shift so I wouldn't be stranded.
Here it is, the next big snowstorm. I check with Bill, and he refuses to work... because the store - and subsequently, Bill personally - were held up at gunpoint last night.
I'm stuck working tonight, and I'm probably going to be stuck unable to make the commute home. GRRRRR.

All I pretty much do anymore at work, all day everyday, is catch other people's stupid mistakes and save theirasses, all while saving the company what adds up to many THOUSANDS of dollars a month. I have a giant file on my desk that proves it.
Today, I made ONE dumb error that cost the company a measly $31.05.
A half hour ago my boss called me down to his office, closed the door, and SCREAMED at me for it. He "threatened" to dock my salary, and then he went home to his giant apartment on Central Park West.
^^ I know how you feel, LRH. My boss is the type that doesn't care who does something, as long as it gets done. In order to prevent him from screaming at us, I spend a portion of my day going behind my co-workers and checking to make sure they've done things correctly. About 80% of the time, I catch mistakes and correct them. If I don't go behind everyone checking, my boss (or someone else here at coporate... or the customer) will find them and all hell will break loose.

I could fill an entire page in this thread with my driving grrrs!! Just a few... -people who slow down when they're merging onto the highway
-people who drive slow in the fast lane--extra grrr if they then speed up when you try to pass them
-people who slam on their brakes at a yellow light, even though they've already entered the intersection
-people who drive 10mph under the limit
-people who "trap" you (that's when you have slow people in front of you and around you, so you have no escape) and it's even worse when it's huge 18-wheelers

My friends can be such bitches. I drive ALL the time on our Saturday night outings. They never offer to drive and I feel they totally take advantage. Tonight a couple of them got too drunk to enjoy the last band as much as they should've. The rest of us had an amazing time dancing. As soon as it was over they insisted on leaving right away... by asking over and over and over "can we leave now?" and "are we going home now?" I'm too passive to stand up to them. I only get to see my bf on the weekends and since I HAD to take them home right then my evening with him ended abruptly. I'm mad at them and I hate feeling this way. GRRRRR!
