And now I am getting nasty emails from our Biloxi office about me changing a procedure that was already in place when I am not the one that changed the fuckiing procedure - It was changed at the direction of my boss and Biloxi has been told that numerous times but they want to fire off nasty emails to me demanding that I explain - all I did was forward the GD email to my boss - she can deal with the shitstorm

what strike me as funny about this one - I love this quote and wholeheartedly believe it - but I don't think that wanting the troops to come home and supporting the troops are two different things.
I think you can support the troops without supporting what they are there for and wanting them to come home is supporting the troops.

Just keep in mind - not all conservatives are close-minded - there are some of us that are very open to opther peoples opinions - and will even -occasionally - change our opinion if given good enough information.

To start, I have no idea what they meant by the Washington drop... Nor did I feel it in my best interest to ask and then subject myself to more ignorant babblings.

GRRRRRRRRRRR.... sometimes I love having a hotel job and all the cool diverse people I get to meet, and sometimes I hate my job and loathe having to act like a daycare center for crackheads. People need to keep their arguements about short sacks out of my lobby, and people with no teeth need to stay in the room.
on the topic of work and co-workers, at least yall get to go home at the end of the day. i've been at work for the last 2 months and i will be again for at least another 5. my workspace is 500 feet of floating steel surrounded on all sides by salty grey water. many of my coworkers actually believe clinton was a worse president than good ole W and that barack obama has ties to al-qaeda. i'm a network administrator so i have to step in when the chain letters accusing starbucks of hating the troops start getting circulated. on a good day i get 4 hours of sleep, stand 18 hours of watch, get maybe 2 hours of free time and 2 full meals in, and only have to yell/get yelled at a handful of times...back home there's a warrant out for my arrest for failure to appear at a suspended license hearing that the expensive lawyer i retained was SUPPOSED to be at. but through it all, i say f*ck it and keep on truckin...that is unless we extend and i have to lose bonnaroo to deployment again like i did in 06...
and in that case, it would then be on motherf*ckers...

i just read this after i posted my previous rant and all i can say is AMEN - that's the best kind of support we can get.
and trust me, a lot of us feel the same way. yea, we'll do what we're paid to do, but that doesn't mean we all have to or do agree with this administration.
i keep a john edwards campaign sticker on my guitar case that has a yellow ribbon on it and says in bold "SUPPORT THE TROOPS - END THE WAR" that just goes over great. but keep doing what yall are doing back home - be vocal, vote - so we don't have to keep doing what we're doing
I hate blister packs. Why must everything be packaged in a form fitting piece of nearly indestructible plastic? WHY? WHY!!?! Whatever happened to boxes?
Blister packs are a pain in the *ss to wrap. They don't stack worth a sh*t. You can't open them without using a blowtorch and a pick-axe. They have sharp edges that cut fingers when you DO finally get them open (F*CKING... OW!) and they generally just SUCK!
Only by the grace of corn is my youngest daughter is not getting the shitz kicked out of her .....
