Its been since saturday since i have seen the sun. Today is the forst day its actually not raining, but NOW, its still cloudy and COLD!!!! Isnt it August?
The sun is all here in the southeast. Right now, I'd pretty much give my left pinky toe for cloudy and cold! We have extremely bright and EXTREMELY HOT (as in, 103 in the shade) and extremely muggy!

Lord give us some cool and clouds and rain!
No doubt! It has been over a month with no rain where I live and the past 2 weeks have been over 100 degrees each day. This week they even closed the schools in Nashville at 11am each day..... I am ready for some rain and so is my poor crunchy, yellow grass

I'll take cold & cloudy over HOT & sunny everytime. You can always put on a jacket or something to stay warm. There's not really much you can do about this kind of heat though. Becca. Mike. - Believe it or not, you guys are the lucky ones.
im not on the east coast, more like north coast, but the other night i went to bed with the fan in the window and woke up on the verge of hypothermia. i could see my breath! it got down to 36, in the middle of august!!! i know im a bit north but thats insane. but i love it. i also love hoodies. you can always put on more clothes. you can only get so naked before ya run out of options in the heat.

Yeah, be glad you have the cold! It hit 107 here today! Talk about miserable! But I promised to stop complaining after talking to a guy in Iraq on Sunday....I was complaining about how hot it was here and he told me it was usually about 125 every day over there .....
OK, so maybe it's not so bad here.....AND I don't have to dodge bullets every day.....I'll shut up now ;D
the weather's all messed up from the hurricane. in minnesota, we were having a summer-long drought and then last weekend 1/3 of the state was flooded. we got an entire summer's worth of rain in one weekend!

I actually like the change of pace with the rain, clouds and coolness. For once I can sleep confortably with the windows open in August.
Yeah, I have to agree on that point... my A/C broke the day I got back from Roo, and I've just been doing without ever since. Still, Summer can't be over already... it just can't!!! Whew, we got some sunny mid 90's on the way I hear... aside from the stench in the subways and near garbage on the street, I love summers in NYC soooooooooooo much
We treat mishaps like sinking ships and I know that I don't want to be out to drift Well I can see it in your eyes like I taste your lips and They both tell me that we're better than this
It is nice to sleep sans A/C and yesterday I had to get up in the middle of the night to grab a blanket from the linen closet but I feel so depressed and gloomy. My yard is happy and my scorched grass and plants are starting to perk up, but I need sun or I may go bonkers.

Becca...well you don't have the brutal, long ass summer to deal with
Everybody knows the 4 seasons in the south are Hot, hot as hell, still hot, and Christmas
It's been in the 100's for over a week straight now...I just finished band camp (being outside!) all last week, and now just walking to class you get drenched in sweat. I'm ready for late September!

Now, now, we do usually get TWO days of fall somewhere in the middle of November..... ;D
