Stone is soooo good. I'm not really a fan of IPA,but they do make a good one. If you can find it let me suggest the Foot Hills Seeing Double IPA. That is the best I've had.

I had PBR last night for the first time in years. I drank less than I normally do in my booze-wrecked nights and have a hangover worse than I normally would after those nights where I don't remember how I got home.
F*ck PBR. Your $3 24oz cans won't fool me ever again!

I dont know why you would so that to yourself. Even a 12 pack of Hobbs isn't but like $3 more.
I am going to that that beer fest in a couple weeks. It seems as though they are chaging it up and show casing some of the up and coming local brewers than usual.Besides the obvious ones (Dogfish,Stone,Smutty,Arcadia), are there any brewers on the list that I should try?
Wow. That is so localized. I really havn't tried that much on the list. I've heard real good things about Peak Organic. The one I wanna try is the Pomegranate Wheat Ale w/ Acai berry. That just sounds yummy.
I really like the fact that it's regional. You have some bigger names in there (Brooklyn,Magic Hat) but it's nice to try different things.
EDIT: Didn't realize Empire was there. Blueberry Wheat. It's a summer seasonal but for a fruity beer it's one of the best.

I think one of the reason it is more localized this year is because it falls on the same weekend as the big beer fest in Wisconsin. As far Peak Organic goes, I have always see their beer, but never been that curious to try it. Maybe this year.
August 8th is shaping up to be a doozy. I found out that Foot Hill Brewery is hosting the festival in Roanoke. As I said before ... They are becoming a favorite.
I wanna know what you think about the Oranic Peak. I'll be on the look out for it in a few months when I'm up there,

Good god... Microfestivus was fucking awesome this year. I had no idea it'd be so hard to finish off my 20 sample ticket. Damn vendors were just too courteous in not marking me half the time
Definitely the best $25 I've ever spent... I must have gotten well over 30 samples when it was all over

^^What was your favorite brew you tried all day? I think I have to give that to either the Foot Hills or the BBC, as far as new brews goes I hadn't had before. Otherwise either the Dogfish 60 minute IPA and Troegs doublebock are the best contenders, as expected
I'm really excited about that Blacksburger Pilsner. Jeezus that was tasty. Otherwise Roanoke Rail was better than I thought and the Allagash Black was great. I really liked the Black ... but seriously doubt I could finish 3 of them.
F*cking YAY!!!!! Had my first 6 pack of Punkin' Ale last night. I love Septmber. Also tried a sampler of Bear Republic that was great. The Tribute Brown was just tasty.
On a side note ... looks like I'm making that Yazoo trip next week. Any Nashvillian Inforoosters wanna watch me get shitty?

Hung over as shit... starting off the day with a Harpoon IPA. Hey, don't judge me... this is the first full weekend I've had off in what seems like forever.
