So I also posted this link on Facebook today. Not too long after, I received from correspondence from a high school classmate. He told me he and some friends had been bringing it in by the U-Haul over the past few years.

Had a few of these last night (and currently suffering the after-effects) - it's Magic Hat's spring seasonal. It's technically a lager, but it's dark enough that it could almost be considered an ale. Definitely recommended if you come across it.
I love most stuff from Sweetwater, I just wish South Carolina would get it. I have yet to see it in this state. Oh well at least now we're finally getting Dogfish Head beers.
This brew is an India Pale Ale by style, but that is where the similarity to most IPAs ends. Each consecutive batch of Hop Project is brewed with a different blend of spicy, aromatic hops, never using the same blend twice. It's a Hophead's dream come true! Check the bottled on date and our blog to decode what specific hop varieties we used in that batch.

by any chance, has anyone been fortunate (or unfortunate) enough to try any of brewdog's crazy abv drinks? i saw they released a 110-proof yesterday at ~$800 per bottle called the end of history ale, i mean i'd drink it if someone bought it for me.. but.. i've never had any of brewdog's ales before though, so im not about to even plop down 120 usd plus s/h for 1 bottle of tactical nuclear penguin and 1 bottle of sink the bismarck, let alone 800 for one ale. just interested to know how they actually taste if anyone's tried them
oh! you guys might know this one, i have been trying to find a very very dark and very very strong lager or doppelbock that was sold in Virginia in at least 2003. it had an eagle or some type of bird on it and referenced native americans somehow. that's all that i remember except that i really liked it. probably a long shot, but who knows, maybe someone knows what im blabbering about

Here's a really good flavorful brew from Tasmania I enjoyed at Trinity Hall before catching "The Killer Inside Me" & "Winter's Bone" at the Angelika Film Center.
Got Sierra Nevada Autumn Brown Ale. It says tumbler across the bottom, they said 8.99 but rang up 7 bucks! Pretty tasty, but it will make you burp like crazy!
Last time I was in NY State, I picked up a case of Yuengling and a 12 pack of Yuengling Black n' Tan. They don't sell it in New England, so many times I'm in Danbury CT - I run across the state line to pick some up.
Sweetwater 420 (earlier mentioned in this topic) - I had that at The Boro the Monday after Roo. It was pretty good, but I can't find it up north. (Ditto anything by Yazoo, which I was looking to try down there.)
I'm unsure of whether I've had a Yazoo beer or not. Shall look for one today at the store.
It is still pretty local to TN, and north Alabama at the moment. I will buy you one for 'roo next year though. Also I am contemplating a Charleston trip for Phish so I could always drop you some off.
