this is going to sound totally insane, but i had a dream with you in it last night. and i don't even know you it was nothing wierd or anything, but i was at bonnaroo and you were there too. i think we were neighbors camping or something, i dont really know. i just remember waking up and thinking...hmm, i think that girl in that avatar wearing the yellow shirt was in my dream.

lol well thats random but fun ;D That picture was taken at roo so maybe you actually saw me there? Were you at Camp Inforoo last year? Sometimes I have random people I haven't seen in forever pop up in my dreams...
I was...but I think I kept a low profile and wasn't around much. I missed some of the big "get to know you" conversations...actually, when I was in camp and everyone was there, I didn't always get a good vibe. I spent most of my camp inforoo time hanging out with floyd242 and his buddies in his supertent.
If you were at the flag, facing the stage, I was a little to the right. Just my gf and I in a tan(ish) tent.
I I missed some of the big "get to know you" conversations...actually, when I was in camp and everyone was there, I didn't always get a good vibe. I spent most of my camp inforoo time hanging out with floyd242 and his buddies in his supertent.

yea i know this makes me sad - im goin into camp inforoo super duper friendly so you biatches better be ready for me ;D!! (even tho im not sleepin there)
Well, it's not like I had a "get out" feeling or anything, but the few times I was there, it felt like I was talking to a clique (sp?) that I wasn't part of... One the other hand, the benefits of being in camp were tremendous - access to coolers, water, tools, chairs, SHADE - so that was a huge plus.
it could have been me, my mental state at the time, thier mental state, blah blah blah. They looked like they were having fun! Plus, I was new to inforoo - and hadn't yet dreamed about it's members.
This year will be different since I'll be VIP and I'll be hanging out with at least 7 other people at 'roo not associated with this board. however, I hope there is still a cool community in the vip section...
Last year when I made it by Camp Inforoo - there were a few people around - but in my state of mind and I am sure in their state of mind - everyone was just chillin and was not all "Oh Hey good to meet you type of friendly" so we just said hey and headed for Centeroo.
This year I am sure it will be different for me because I will be going looking for specific people that I HAVE to meet!

That's how our experience was too. LIGuy was extremely friendly, though.
see - when I made it by there LIGuy was not there because that was who I asked for - oh well - this year WILL be different - even if I have to sit down right in the middle of people and just start talking!
I really have no idea - and I haven't been involved in any meanspirited discussions.
hell, this past mothers day I sent flowers to my Bonnaroo Mom (this cool lady and her daughter we met/rescued at the airport last year when almost all the flights to Boston were cancelled) so, fortunately, I think my real life karma is up

I've said it before but, even though you haven't said anything offensive, posting in this thread makes you a target. Once you admit that he/she/they are getting to you, they WILL continue. They're looking for attention and complaing about them and what they're doing gives them just that. I firmly believe that if you ignore them, they will get bored and stop. Just my view on things. I don't think it was because you expressed your opinon- I think it was HOW you expressed your opinion.

Starting a thread stating the falsehood that Tool was not playing is not expressing an opinion. I am not much of a fan of TOOL's music myself, but I wouldn't call them a bad band, just not my thing.
