It's in 2 parts b/c the stream glitched out in the middle. So i recorded the first part, and had to restart the record when it came back. Second part comes in the middle of Haiti, but is only missing about a minute or two of the actual concert.

Is anyone watching Fair to Midland right now? They had a guest singer on their second song and he looked like the lead singer of System of a Down but I'm not sure if it was....... Anyone know? (Just read on their website that they are on his label so I am going to assume it was him). Either way, they are pretty damn good.
Also is anyone able to capture the Damien Rice stream at 11:50pm CST tonight? I won't be able to watch it but I would love to see it.

Yes that was Serj. I didn't get to see it but had read somewhere that he would be on hand for their set.

oh. my. god. Best set list ever. I can't wait to see video from the show, the pictures are awesome, its weird seeing Zack without the dreads.

Well I guess not many people have posted anything about Coachella so here is a brief summation of my road trip to coachella. Me and 3 friends left from Fort worth Texas Tuesday night to stop at the the Grand Canyon for a day before we get to Coachella. We hike one of the Grand Canyon trails about a mile (which is asolutely awesome and needs its own vacation), chill and spend the night. THen Thursday we drive through Lake Havasu and over the London Bridge to get to Coachella Thursday night, We get their early THursday and they arent very thorough checking everything, so we get in some beer, and a 1.75 of Jim Beam ,and everyone around us didn't have any problems getting anything into the campgrond Thursday night. They were way more thorough the next days, but it was still possible to get stuff in, they werent ripping your camping gear aprart. So Friday was the First day and we started off with comedians of comedy which was pretty funny, I wanna check out Aziz Ansari (look up Aziz Ansari is a badass on youtube ts hilarious and he talks about bonnaroo), then saw brother Ali who is pretty good live, caught some of nickel creek, and walked up to satellite party playing stop by jane's addiction. We caught some of digitalism, silversun pickups, and peaches. Then went to the main stage for JAMC interpol and bjork. Me and my friend got up close for interpol, and they rocked live like no other. Then as soon as they ended waves of mad crazy bjork fans trash compacted everyone up front near the stage, and lots of people crowd surfed out of that mess. Then Bjork came on and ripped nuts apart, that performance was absolutely awesome. Especially being that close, other than not having any room at all to move my feet. I was totally exhausted after that set. not much partying went down that night from tiredness. The main problem with coachella this year was scheduling. I ended up missing Gogol bordello who I here tore nuts apart ( i wont miss them at Bonnaroo), Faithless, el-P, Sonic Youth, Peeping Tom, Benny Benassi , and Dj Shadow to see Bjork and Interpol, I dont regret it, but that was about six bands i wanted to see that I had to pass up. Saturday was when you started feeling the heat it wwnt from 95 - 105 from Friday up to Sunday, and waking up at 8 in the morning with a tent thats 90 degrees sucks major balls four days in a row. I am gonna post this at the moment and will continue to add on. To keep you occupied here is the recorded webcast of Bjork's entire set, Her last three songs are the best and she doesnt come on until about 7 minues into the video. video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-4213649915759719941&hl=en

Saturday we got up when the sun woke us up, ate some food at the campgrounds took a shower, and chilled for a bit. You have a pretty good window to leave and come back without losing a good parking spot, although we never left the campgrounds. I had to sell an extra ticket that morning, and got $70 on the $95 ticket, buti wasnt trying to scalp, that guy was though. To start it off was Pharoah Moch on the main stag, and he had a really good performance , We walked around for a little while aftter them , no major bands to see really bad, and it was a good time to chill in the shade. THe next act we spent some time on was MSTRKRFT and we watched that for a while, an d they had the Sahara tent bumping, but dance music isnt the same in 100 degree weather outside dring the day. After that we got front row for Andrew Bird and he played an awesome set. Too bad my camera cant handle volume well, because we have good footage with horrible sound. After that we walked around for a bit, then caught the first half of Arcade Fire which they are an amazing band live. i didnt really wanna miss any of their set, but at least i can catch them at Austin City Limits this year, because I am going to 3 of these festivals. So we left The main stage to get front row for Girl Talk which was a female dance party. He started it off wth about 30 chicks dancing on stage including Paris Hilton then more and more people kept getting on stage, and it was just a fun set. (I wil check him out at Bonnaroo this year unless there is a major conflict, but I will post some footage to check out at the end of the thread) I did forget about Justice (who destroyed the Sahara)during Girl Talk, and that along with Gogol Bordello, and Sonic Youth were the bands i wish i could have seen. After that was th chili peppers who played a good set, if yo like them you wouldnt be disapointed. From there i wish i could have caught more of Gotan Prject who sounded good, and I hear got cut off due to Coachella's nazi set time allotments. (Dj shadow kept playing until they turned the sound off from what i heard also) After that we walked around more that night to see what was hapening, I would have liked to have caught the Black keys set, but just saw a little. I heard MikeRelm was really good, and I di not know about him. The last thing we caught was Tiesto on the main stage. all th ravers were out and he had the crowd going nuts. I am not way into Tiesto, but he held it down pretty well. After that pretty tired again due to the desert and not much partying that night. I need to work in the morning so I will post sunday's review and a bunch of videos tomorrow.
Ah, it was the best of times. So many great sets. Jarvis Cocker owned the whole weekend with the kind of performance that not just was amazing but was also once-in-a-lifetime since he never tours America. He was insanely energetic: jumping around, shaking his ass at the crowd, throwing candy and beer at us, chasing moths, and expressing so many emotions with his right arm. All that while singing (and sometimes playing the guitar) perfectly, while sharing his witty observations and jokes with the crowd. No Pulp songs, but the solo stuff is great enough.
Arcade Fire, Bjork, Blonde Redhead, CSS, Air, and Rage were all amazing. Great sets from Travis, Decemberists, Of Montreal, Comedians of Comedy, LCD Soundsystem, Explosions in the Sky, etc, too.
New Pornographers were unfortunately underwhelming and without Neko Case, Peaches was horrible and my expectations were low, and Interpol proved their one good album was a fluke and that they will never be anything better than a hipster fashion statement with a disappointly phoned-in performance and forgettable new material.
Arcade Fire owned Saturday night, proving to be the true headliners of the evening with an unbelievably energetic set that captured the hearts and bodies of the massive 50,000+ crowd (and bands conflicting with AF had small crowds, but bands conflicting with RHCP had large crowds, hence my declaration of true headliner). They truly are a festival band if there ever was one.
Really wish I could've seen Justice (conflicted with Arcade Fire and Blonde Redhead), JAMC (I had to get up front for Jarvis, which meant suffering through Peaches), Peter Bjorn & John, DJ Shadow, and Gogol Bordello (I hear they destroyed).
And also the blurst of times. I was sick by Saturday morning, my phone was stolen, I couldn't find my tent Sunday night since the helpful flag had been taken town, and had a panic attack because my ride had texted me saying she wanted to leave immediately after Sunday night and since my phone was stolen minutes and I couldn't find my group at camp, I thought I was stranded 130 miles from home with no way to reach anyone.
