According to Wikipedia ( :, The Field, Voxtrot and Mastodon are rumored to be added. That would be so kickass.
Ok all, seriously who went last year? What was it like? The venue? The stage setups? The scheduling? The set lengths? Lodging, etc.? I would greatly appreciate sage advice.

Check upthread for the link to last year's thread, because I'm lazy right now. It's a good time. Those adds would be so fricking great.

My friend backed out on me...She has a wedding to attend. I have a spare ticket if any one wants it. Going solo if not. Oh and im in a rush and dont have time to find the link but Paste leaked that Boris is playing as well... Oh Boris...
Yeah I'd really like to go too. I gotta run this by my one buddy, but I think I'm gonna say F U to the Virgin Fest and try to be in Chi-Town this July. I can get my plane ticket and the fest ticket for as much as a V-Fest ticket. For me it's a no brainer.

Just for the record, today I listened to the most recent PMF podcast, and in it they do indeed say that William Parker is playing on Saturday. They also have some good interview material with him, as well as some good stuff with The Sea and Cake, and Slint.

Where's the pitchfork festival at?
EDIT: Didn't read into the thread far enough, Chicago eh? That's not a long drive for me. I might have to decide between 10,000 Lakes or Pitchfork. Right now, I'm leaning heavily on 10klf, but we'll see.

Ahhh, looks so good. You're right, poop, Mastodon takes the cake. I'm bummed that the Boris rumor didn't pan out, but it's still an excellent lineup overall.
It's really cool to be attending another festival after Bonnaroo in which there is no overlap in the lineup! Talk about getting your money's worth!

So, when do they usually announce the schedule? I'm assuming they do that beforehand, but it's only a few weeks away at this point. What was the breakdown last year in terms of stages/tents, set lengths and times, and so on?
