Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
LOL! Have to find out what connotation St Johns has in VooDoo terms....only know the Catholic side of that one
I guess they are doing everything earlier this year because of it being the 10th anniversary and all....hope that means an even BIGGER lineup and festie! Can't wait!! ;D But soooo much before then....and sorry I have been neglecting InfoVooDoo so horribly.....just too wrapped up in Jazz Fest and 'Roo right now to even THINK about VooDoo yet...Oct is Sooo far away.....
No problems. I just figured I'd bump this thread up since I knew the line-up would be announced sometime in the near future. I'm sure the traffic at the InfoVoodoo board will pick up then. Yeah, I'm stoked for the Memphis in May Music Fest this coming weekend and then the Roo in June.
Karma for the bump! And be sure to come by the 'Roo brunch now....a whole lot of the VooDoo gang will be there...me and Bunny and Cajun for sure....unfortunately Spooky is bailing on us this year for 'Roo Still undecided for VooDoo but maybe once the lineup comes out that will make up their mind for that ;D
I'm holding out for Zeppelin at Voodoo this year. Supposedly they're planning something big for the 10th anniversary. Not much bigger than Zeppelin. I also noticed that Radiohead doesn't have a New Orleans show scheduled for their tour. Maybe cause they're waiting till Voodoo?
So many cool looking fests with NIN... I'll have to wait and see what the rest of the line up looks like. If it were someone else in STP's place, I'd be more excited.
Yeah, I saw STP there a few years back. Good show but I've seen them twice since then, so I'd rather see somebody different. Strangely enough, the only time I've seen NIN was at the Voodoo Fest held here in Memphis while New Orleans was being repaired after Katrina. Good show but the attendance was abysmal. They didn't even bother to hardly advertise the show in Memphis.

I have vowed to see R.E.M. on this tour. This just might be it. I'll even be in the area for a wedding this fall. I may finally make it to a fest other than Bonnaroo.
John: We don't even understand our own music Spider: It doesn't, does it matter whether we understand it? At least it'll give us . . . strength John: I know but maybe we could get into it more if we understood it
The NIN show I saw in ATL had a horrible turn about. Sure, the GA was packed, but there were only a few groups of people (a friend and myself, included) that chose seats. Great choice in my mind, as the crowd looked WILD and I had a great view, met some great people, and had a great time!
NIN is my favorite band, and any way to see them is a plus.
REM is a band I only vaguely liked growing up. Now, I see them in a different light; I see them as an f'n fantastic band, and one that I'd love to see live. Not one of my favs, but still awesome.
STP... To keep it simple, I hate them.
Hopefully, the lineup is at least average... if so, I definitely plan on going there, especially since a friend of mine has some of her family down there.
I had an awesome time last year. Caught some good music during the day and just partied on Bourbon St at night. I've already got my tickets for this year so unless the rest of the lineup is awful, I'll probably go again this year.

Not bad. I'd like to see about 7 or 8 of those, wouldn't mind seeing another 4 or 5. Doubt I make the trip down for these bands though. Too bad. Here's hoping the Echo Project comes through.
