Okay, ACL was awesome, but...
"Austin City Limits, which pulled in 225,000 to Austin's Zilker Park in September" ???
I'd be surprised if they counted the number of people for each day and added them together and it equaled anywhere near that. That was a huge part of why it was awesome But maybe if you counted every bracelet scan... the river was right there, in the hot Austin sun, maybe *edit*used to say 2000 yards, but 600 yards is more like what I meant*edit* yards away, ouside the gates with no lines at all for re-entry, like a revolving door of refreshment in rock and roll heaven
Yeah...that's what they do at those things....that's exactly what they did at VooDoo....counted the bracelet scans.....which isn't really fair...but then the press bands didn't have barcodes...and I'm not sure if VIPS did either...I don't think they got scanned....so there is some equalization...but not NEARLY enough to account for the comings and goings....esp for a non-camping event.....
That would be great!! I would hope the line-up would be more Roo like than cochella like . . . . cause then id go, i mean, 12 hour drive vs one hour drive . . . . now that would be AWESOME! I cant bypass Roo though for this
- tickets should be about the same as Lolla ($195 for the weekend) - local government expects about 35,000 attendees this first year - promoters have leased the property for 3 years, with an option to buy

That so early in the game... does sound like a great list of speculative possibility... and the Police, while rusty, but still entertaining, at Roo, really kicked it up a notch at Virgin 3 months later (I think, also, that was more Sting's element, for whatever reason, he could wrap his head around it there... he did say "Hello to the people of Baltimore!" but I mean, we were in Baltimore, so that works well enough )
*edit* Though, if he said, "Hello to 80,00 Pimlicoeans," that would have surely made me LAUGH MY ASS OFF!!!

the bands posted were for glastonbury, not vineland.
if anything, i feel like this fest is gunna be a traffic nightmare.
turnpike drops you off at a point where you have to take back roads through small towns to get there, and people come from i-76 in philly or up 295 from the south or north will have to take rt.55 there which is gunna get really backed up.
