Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
I think you have to factor in the format too. Lollapalooza will essentially have one stand alone headliner, most likely Radiohead on Sunday. Which means, NIN will play the A&T Stage either Friday or Saturday. My guess for the other headliners: Wilco, Kanye West & Jack Johnson.
If it were something as big as Jane's Addiction, they would have leaked that info with NIN and Radiohead.
^^^If Jay-Z or Rage Against the Machine were headlining, I guarantee you'd hear about it already. C3 leaks are very intentional.
On top of that, the festival under C3 has no history of booking three major headliners. So I would not hold out hopes for a third hugely exciting name. Radiohead and NIN is definitely the best the festival has done so far though...
I tried to get those $60 tickets. I refreshed my screen every 10-15 minutes for 2 solid days at work hoping to catch them.
Friday at 9:20, I get called down for a meeting. Come up 30 minutes later and they were gone. Arggghh!!
I'm honestly not too keen on NIN. Of course I wouldn't mind Radiohead, but they are touring this summer, so I'll see them then. If they can add an act like Rage, REM, or the Foo Fighters I'll go. Otherwise, I'll just save the money and vacation time.
2 festivals in one year is a little heavy on the bank account. Especially if you're going to Roo VIP style!
Farrel has confirmed that Jack Johnson is not playing Lolla. I am a (pretty big) fan of JJ, but I have to say I take that as good news since that leaves room for another big name and I'll (hopefully) have the chance to catch JJ at Roo where he matches the vibe more.

I don't think Kanye will headline again so soon.
If the third headliner not being leaked means as much as you think, dudezer, that would eliminate Rage and Jay Z. I think Porno For Pyros would remain as a possibility, though. Big enough to be a third headliner, not so big to be leaked early, and Ferrell's already involved.
Another possibility that might fit the above formula (minus Perry ferrell)- Primus.
Have to say, this kind of pisses me off a bit. C3 runs both Lolla and ACL and has never delivered on promised acts to ACL. Attal better step up his game in Austin...
Radiohead, NIN & RATM qualifies as big. Easily the shiniest set of festival headliners stateside. Anything else at this point will be icing on the cake.
So....other than that one article...where are the RATM rumors coming from??? While I would LOVE it ;D ;D (DUH!)....I'm a bit skeptical since they were all over the place last year and are in Europe all summer.....
This is the best news I've heard all year!!! If NIN,RATM, and Radiohead play at Lolla htis year my head will explode. But anyways, does anybody know the possibility of The Mars Volta playing at Lolla.
Lollapalooza’s Austin, Texas-based promoters C3 Presents are not scheduled to make their official announcement of the acts performing at this year’s weekend-long music festival in Grant Park until Monday, but the Sun-Times has confirmed through industry sources all of the major artists.
Art-rock giants Radiohead and Nine Inch Nails, the reunited Rage Against the Machine, Jack White’s side project the Raconteurs and hometown heroes Wilco and Kanye West will headline the main stages on Aug. 1-3.
The Raconteurs, Wilco and West will each be making their second appearance at the reinvented destination festival. Other repeaters among the more than 100 acts on this year’s bill are Gnarls Barkley, the Black Keys, Broken Social Scene, G. Love & Special Sauce, Blues Traveler and Mates of State.
Quite a few of the other acts — including many of the most promising — have earlier performed at Chicago’s two independently produced music festivals, Pitchfork and Intonation. These include Bloc Party, Cat Power, Stephen Malkmus, Girl Talk, Kid Sister, Office, the Cool Kids, Battles, the Go! Team, Jamie Lidell and Grizzly Bear. Advance three-day passes are now on sale for a limited time for $190 (after which the price increases to $205) at www.lollapalooza.com.
