I am jacked to the gills for this show. I have had the advertisement posted on the refrig for like three months now. Pit seats for Atlanta and 20th row for Charlotte. Beyond happy.
Thanks for links Death and Squirell.
I wonder how the stage set up is going to be? I am expecting something much more elaborate than the last tour. Since Radiohead is headlining all these festivals, they are going to have to bring the heat for their stage show so that they can keep the "Best Festival Band" moniker.
I guess I should cram some Liars listening over the next week so that I can get familiar with their stuff. What I had heard was good, but definitely sounded like it needed a couple more listens.
I'll be gettin my Grizzly Bear on at Lolla for the first time. Yellow House is a great album, IMO. As for Liars, Drums Not Dead is my favorite of theirs. The newest s/t one is really strange and I haven't gotten into it as much. It kinda reminds me of old highly experimental Pink Floyd. A healthy dose of corn is in order for your ultimate listening pleasure

I'll have to get ahold of Yellow House. I've only listened to them at their website a couple times with crappy computer speakers. Luckily I have a few months before the show.
Going to both. Can't wait. Less than a week. Looking forward to some new songs. I hope that they have fleshed out that "morning my lord" song that Thom plays acoustically on the Most Gigantic lying Mouth of All Time DVD. That song has the potential to be Radiohead's "Zeppelin" song.
Now I have down is the new up going through my head.
So the lot opens at 4. I keep hearing that getting in there and getting out is a nightmare and a half. So leave early, I guess. I'm gonna try to be down there right at 4. Hopefully traffic won't be too insane that early. The website says there's no drinking in the lot?!? Yeah, ok then, plastic cups it is
