Yeah I don't know. If the Lakers can somehow pull out a win in the next game in SA, it's over. All I know is that when there's blood in the water, Kobes will feast. I hope it's at least a better game than last night's though. Sheesh.
lakers are greater than hornets, however, who has a 10 pt lead at half-time...(crosses fingers and hopes that spurs dont go on a second half drought like usual)...GO SPURS GO!!!
i know one shouldn't cry over spilled milk, but the fact that there was no call on that last three point attempt by barry really pissed me off...it was very obvious that fisher committed the foul...to me, the game was given away by poor reffing (i dont know if thats a word)...and kobe's freaking arrogance during the post interview on the court where he said "no foul", one could easily tell that he didnt want to answer the question...oh well, i guess ill stop my crying now...GO SPURS GO!!! (but very unlikely now, f-ing ref)

to be fair your boys had plenty of opportunities with those open jumpers in the last 2 minutes but missed. they didn't blame anyone after the game either even pop said it was a no call. yes the league said otherwise today but the spurs know they should have been up 4 instead of down 2. they're gonna win thursday night though so it's not over.
p.s. i can't believe my men won with only 3 points from the bench

yeah i think the spurs will win tonight it's really hard to close out a team especially when that team has tim duncan. i'm pretty sure they're gonna go to la tonight and send it back to texas

very true...its the spurs, and the spurs only, who put themselves where they are...they gave up a 20 pt lead in game one, and played horribly in game 4...manu has not been a factor (with the exception of game 3), which is very uncharacteristic...i believe that their shooting average for the series is somewhere in the 30 percentile, and no team will win a series with that kind of shooting...as for them not complaining about the no call, i read an article in todays san antonio paper, and it states that the spurs do not give excuses because thats what popovich learned being in the air force...cant really say the same for phil jackson who blames the ref for everything (when asked during the in-game interview why the spurs went on a run in the first quarter of this last game, jackson responded that it was the refs not blowing the whistle, and after the game he complains that the refs messed up by not reseting the clock after the ball hit the rim in the final minute, making kobe have to shoot the ball with two on the shot clock)...oh well, you get some good calls and you get some bad calls, all the spurs can do is look forward...GO SPURS GO!!!

yeah phil does complain but i guess when you've won 9 championships your earn that right. spurs are gonna win tonight. the lakers starting 5 is playing sloppy so far.
well, the spurs had a good run, but they just didnt want it enough...as for the finals, im sure that the lakers vs the celtics will be a good series...i will be cheering for boston--not because im disappointed with the lakers defeating the spurs, but because i have never liked kobe as a person, and therefore dont want him to win

I'm all for Boston, strictly because I can't be a Lakers fan unless it's against the Spurs. Other than that, I'm completely against the Lakers.. It's a Kobe thing for me too, jigawig.
Awwwww, come on now. Kobe is the man. Sure he can be self-centered and a little off-putting. But the man can play. I mean he's #24 for a reason. One better than #23
That just made me throw up a little bit in my mouth. Blasphemy!
Well there is an ongoing argument that's beginning to pick up strength, cause Kobes has accomplished more at his age, and is on pace to break some of Jordan's records. I wouldn't say he's better, but we'll have to just wait n' see how his career plays out. It does piss people off when you say that though, doesn't it

^^^The reason I hate it is for the exact point that you mentioned... It's so early in his career to compare to someone of Jordan's legacy. Same goes for LeBron. Until they retire or actually break his records (not just on pace to...) I just don't wanna see any comparisons.
