^^You're in for a treat, Danbird! I'd say you can probably expect some War Begun and possibly some Cobra or Steam Engine, since we got robbed of both of them in C'ville
the five spinning orbs really got me, also seeing the shadows on the ceiling of them jamming was super kick ass I made some corn balls for the show and they were really what the doctor ordered.
It was definitely exciting to see my first full MMJ show.
I would have figured you would be turned off by them after we saw Zach Galifianakis dressed up as Ani sing Home Sweet Home. I do kinda wish I did catch more of that set than Super Jam, but we were at least dry most of the set.
Haha, that was great. The songs I caught at roo were about 10 times more epic than last night. After seeing their whole set i'm not too terribly saddened by seeing the superjam. Thats a once in a lifetime show, its hard to pass those up.

It goes without saying that this show was un-frickin-believable. We got there a little late(Dave and Busters is too much fun), but made it fairly close on the right side. I have some videos and pics to post soon. I have to say that Phone Went West was my favorite of the night. It was so funky and groovy. I've never heard them play it like that before. WOW. Just WOW. What a great night. Just got my tickets for NYE ;D
Danbird, we were right up front on the right side...not sure how we missed you! Anyway, this was probably the best of the six shows I've seen in the last two weeks. They were positively on fire. Wow.
danbird: phone went west on this tour is extra funky... it was a favorite of mine in louisville... at first my friend thought they were covering bob marley's "stir it up"....
This makes me very excited for tonight. Although I'm not quite sure we'll get War Begun and Cobra two nights in a row. However I see that Steam Engine was left off the Philly show so it might make an appearance tonight.
no, tickets were still available for the philly show friday.
They were available the day before, but Festival Pier rarely sells out and I would guess that it'd be one of the bigger venues they're playing this tour, besides MSG, of course
Just wondering, are the shows selling out thus far on the tour?
I know people were having a hard time finding tickets for some of the shows down south (can't remember if it was Myrtle Beach, Atl, etc). Both Chicago shows are sold out, too.

I hate 'em. I don't know how people can stand to go to 'em. I'd rather stay at home in my living room and watch Ugly Betty than stand in a crowd of thousands of sweaty strangers and listen to a band melt my face. . . .
Sorry. I could resist.
