I think someone may have posted this somewhere already, but a reminder...
"My Morning Jacket has graciously agreed to lend us the soundboard recording of their June 20th performance at Radio City to broadcast live on the HD Radio digital airways in New York City. On Thursday, September 25th and again on Saturday the 27th, WNEW.com will bring you My Morning Jacket - Live at Radio City Music Hall on 102.7HD2 in NYC and around the world on this website. Trust me when I say: HD + SBD = the sweetness."
not sure if anyone posted pics from the kansas city show at uptown, but this place is an awesome venue. heres a few pics, jim gets up on the balcony overlooking the crowd and starts playing a solo. right above me and really amazing show, sorry only had my phone camera to use...

^^They've sent several emails out to people saying they would like to start at the time it says on your ticket. If there are enough people there at show time, they'll start and play until curfew.
Point being: if you want to see as much MMJ as possible, get there a half hour before the show time on your ticket.
Watchin' a stretch of road, miles of light explode. Driftin' off a thing I'd never done before. Watchin' a crowd roll in. Out go the lights it begins. A feelin' in my bones I've never felt before...

Holy crap! Such a "rockstar" thing to do....on-stage injuries are part of the territory. Hell, Hetfield got freaking burned alive onstage. I think Jim got off lucky....heheheehhe

I wish I would have been there...I would have gladly broken his fall. He could have landed right ON TOP of me! Then I could have licked his wounds, so to speak.
Yeah the website says postponed. They will reschedule those shows. It just sucks for people traveling. Sucks even worse for Jim. Bittersweet day. MMJ cancels/Postpones or MMJ announcing that they are playing Richmond December the 29th.
I didn't get the email till yesterday. The National has a 1500 person capicity. Hell yes it's gonna sell out. The good shows always do. If you can't do it by monday. Let me know I can work something out. Jacket two times in 3 days. Ummmm.....
